Obviously good to score seven, but Morecambe were the worst side I’ve seen on TV. Their leftback and keeper were no better than average semi pro level, and a few of them were really not at all fit enough to compete with us. Very roly poly.

I’m wondering if their apparent low standard might be an example of the effects of the corona virus. Clubs will surely soon start to going to the wall because of no match day revenue, and you’d have to think clubs in the lower leagues are no longer able to pay for the volume of better players they could a year ago.

As things are, you’re going to start seeing clubs not paying their players, players drifting away from the game, and clubs going out of existence.

Nicky, well at least we didn’t give them too much respect at home and fail to penetrate their final third, only winning by bringing on first team subs at the end to incite helicopter celebrations.

They may be cack but Dennis Twice says attack……toon attack!!!!!!!!

    His name was Jo
    He was from Linton
With dyed colours in his hair but his goal ration wasn’t there
He would turn up and fall over
And while he tried to be a star
The transfer figure was too far
    A cabbage on the floor
They worked with a back four
The team and Bruce had each other
    Jo was asked for more

I don’t think you can say that Rafa was remotely average in his time at Newcastle.

Brought us back up at the first attempt, with no prior experience of the Championship.

Kept us up for two seasons with very little backing.

Second half of his last season had us in top third form.

That’s very decent, without even touching upon the remarkable unity he gave us, not seen since the days of Bobby Robson.

I’m okay with Steve Bruce, only because he has neither succeeded or failed yet, but our points haul over the last 25 odd league games where he has begun to impose his own style has been worryingly low, despite having better players to field than Rafa had.

We don’t play well v Spurs, tight, compact, at it, I’ll start to be concerned.

WLtoon, the world is already in a huge mess, not only with climate change which is very dangerous, but also some of the total binlids like Trump who totally dismisses the scientific advice, even though we have clearly seen the evidence before our very eyes in almost every county with the freak weather the last few years, there is to many idiots in power in the world at the moment, you only have to remember nutters like Hitler to appreciate its so dangerious to have so many nutters in power at the same time.

Rafa did a 6/10 job here and is doing a 2/10 job in China.

The bloke is finished as an elite manager and is at best marginally better than British duffer Bruce, at this stage in their careers.

If climate change don’t finish us off then plastic is waiting to do it’s bit.

On our few days to Felixstowe recently I was sitting on the tide line of the beach and started counting bits of plastic around my feet and gave up when I got into the hundreds.

Mund if the saudis pif dont come back to try and get the takeover approved, i think we would all settle for decent owners simular to the owners of Wolves, Everton and Leicester, iam sure you also would be more than happy with that outcome Mund, obviously the saudis would be the perfect scenario, but if it didnt happen we would all be happy with owners simular to the clubs ive mentioned.

The endgame has always been the removal of Ashley and this whole regime. Saudis where an added bonus mate and my belief it will still happen. I’d be happy with just Staveley and the Reubens or someone else with that type of vision and ambition.

One day you’re going to say something really nice and civil and you will lose your ”know it all” and ”i know best” patter. I can feel it in my bones. You are not really a bitter old sod with a massive chip on his shoulder. No, let your inner self come out bsib, smell the roses, let your furrowed angry brow uncrease.

As long as you have major powers ignoring the need for change, in fact ignoring there is a problem ,we as a planet are screwed, the only feasible way to reverse this is for there to be an extinction event which wipes out most of the human race…no more Americans, Chinese , Ruskies and Indians, maybe Covid is this event…maybe not ,but its no coincidence that in the 3 month a lot of the planet were locked in, the pollution dropped by 30%….its not for us that we need to do something though , its for the rest of the worlds inhabitants, and obviously our kids/grandkids etc
