Video Highlights Of Imminent Signing: 21-Year-Old Peruvian Playmaker Rodrigo Vilca

After some weeks of negotiations, Rodrigo Vilca will travel to Newcastle on Thursday to complete his move to the Magpies.

The fee is in the range of £250K-£400K.

Newcastle had originally offered £250M for the 21-year-old but his club wanted more, so we think it’s at most £400K for the young playmaker.

Newcastle are said to have a development plan in place for the youngster, and he will at least stay on Tyneside until the end of the year to settle in at Newcastle.

And we’re sure our other South American Miggy Almiron will help him do that – and so will Newcastle icon Nobby Solano.

The lad has been called a wonder-kid, so we will see what he can do.

And if he plays well when he comes over he could even get a chance in the Newcastle first team before the end of the year.

The plan seems to be to take a look at him, and if he needs to be shipped out on loan to an English club that can be done during the January transfer window.

The division will depend on how he looks in training and playing for the Newcastle U23 side.

This is a low risk signing for Newcastle and really a no-brainer.

There’s a lot of upside to the deal and very little downside for Newcastle.

IFormer Schalke 04 defender Bradley Cross has held talks with #NUFC after a trial period with the club.
The South African is out of contract after spending the last two years with the Bundesliga club.
The 19-year-old CB is believed to have a UK passport.

Nice set piece about a minute in, but most of those highlights begin with him completely unmarked in acres of space and then beating one man that’s trying to close him down. He won’t get many chances to do that in the prem.

Problem with that clip, it shows him trying to pass forward, Bruce will need to knock that out of him we only pass sideways and back unless it is a hoof!

Instead of ‘The Battle of Hoth’ from Empire Strikes Back its going to be ‘The Battle of Hoof’ this Saturday.

2 hoofballing giants Newcastle Utd and Burnley will meet face to face to settle once and for all who the king of the hoofs is.

Expect sideway and backward passing. Expect a few red cards and more importantly expect Carroll to elbow someone in the face (unintentionally of course) at least twice.

    Black & White Vision

We have been linked with a move for Palace Striker Cristian Benteke not sure on fee or if it is a loan deal but at right price or on loan would you take him??

At Villa he was very good but that was a few years ago now!

Benteke’s main strengths are jumping, strength and heading so its a no-brainer for Brucies hoofball style.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been loan listed, now that’s a player we could use.

With the clip I like how forward thinking he is and looks good on the ball but let’s be weary or we will all turn into Dennis Wise pro scouting team.

The thing is even if the lad does have talent he is come under the stewardship of Bruce Almighty….

Benteke under Bruce would actually be what we need someone we can hoof the ball up to and win headers and run about a bit

Would be better than nothing I suppose

At the end of the day Villa is really just as close as Newcastle its only a flight away…..

A player of that quality in the middle would allow us to do so much more

RLC and Hayden with Lobby or Miggy as our number 10 with Maxi and Fraser on wings with Wilson up top.

Now to me on paper that looks an excellent midfield and forward line

Bruce actually has a good record of bringing on kids. Look at Andrew Robertson and Jarrod Bowen

Robertson “I did not think I was ready (to go to Hull) after only a year in full-time football with Dundee United and felt it would be better to wait, but I spoke to Steve for 15 or 20 minutes and he convinced me I was good enough for that level. For the two-and-a-half years I was with him he was different class and helped make me the player I am today.”

He also launched Jordan Henderson’s career at Sunderland, giving him his debut at 18 years of age.

I know there are a lot of valid criticisms to throw at Bruce, but I don’t think stalling the development of young players is one of them, the opposite is actually the case.
