That’s the first post I’ve seen without you mentioning how brave you were, although you did mention that firestick for the umpteenth time and no doubt would have mentioned your new dog had you not callously thrown it out. Insufferable bore. Bloody nerve 🙄

You can try and stitch it up with your usual negative stance but the simple fact is until we become a nailed on contender for a Champs Lge place players good enough to play for one of those clubs will want to go there…
Whether it’s Ashley, PIF or Uncle Tom Cobbley who owns us.
To try and twist it that it’s only NUFC who lose players to those clubs is just sticking your head in the sand for the sake of it.

But we’re not even attempting to become a nailed on contender, we’re aiming for PL survival, Bruce even said it was in his job description.

The teams you mention are in a position of strength and are traditionally successful and ambitious. Bale for example has been in Spain for years and won everything. They simply get the next best up and comer and re-stock. Bale doesn’t even get a game at RM so is expendable.
Come here under Bruce and Ashley and if you’re any good, NUFC is a ”stepping stone” and you have next to zero chance of winning anything at sjp.
Even the R detractors would admit R was trying to move us away from that

Comment #295Just for the benefit of the more intelligent blog members ( so exclude squaddie, Jail and Co )…
We got a pup, looked after him and loved him, got him all his vaccinations etc. But wfe had started a new high stress job and had to work at home all the time with him and just couldn’t manage.
We found his sister pup on a small farm with obviously loads more space and the dog is having a ball
Happy to put the record straight.

Comment #297Hey boys, I see that Ed made a full post about how Rafa was doing so badly.
Your old “don’t criticise rafa, it’s not allowed” situation of a couple of years ago fell asunder didn’t it?
Is the Teliban officially disbanded now?
It was so enjoyable to have the balls to stand up to the bullies.
The cheek of me!
Star struck Jail and his put down friends couldn’t handle a few guys asking some questions.

Not really sure what point you’re trying to push here. Like munter keys’ views on our former manager, we are all very aware of and agree with your feelings towards our illustrious and conscientious owner.
However, some of us are desperately hanging onto the hope that these 2 QC’s can work a miracle and until that flame is entirely doused, that’s all we’ve got to hang on to. Others are happy to accept mediocrity, not me.
