Ryan Fraser started once again for Scotland in their Nations League match against the Czech Republic. The winger bagged his second international goal and the match winner with a calm finish in the 6th minute. The Czech Republic spent the rest of the match searching for an equalizer that just didn’t come. Ryan came off in the 70th minute for Norwich’s Kenny McLean. It was another very good performance for Fraser who was the Man of the Match against Slovakia on Sunday. Scotland lead League B Group 2 with 10 points.

Jeff Hendrick got another cap for the Republic of Ireland as he started in their Nations League loss at Finland on Wednesday. Augsburg forward Fredrik Jensen got the decisive goal in the 66th-minute. Norwich striker Teemu Pukki pounced on a poor goal-kick and played in Jensen. Hendrick was part of a double change in the 75th minute as Adam Idah was brought on. Ireland couldn’t find an equalizer as they fail to score for the fourth match running.

Comment #3Was This A Good Summer Transfer Window For Newcastle?
In and of itself the transfer window was reasonably good, or better than most others. However the squad is still lacking in quality that is a result of under investment in the past and inability to attract good players that require the opportunity to progress. Essentially this summer was a correction rather than a success.
