Newcastle will have until 5:00 pm tomorrow to move out those players who will not be in the Premier League 25 man squad.
The goal is to get their wages, or at least a part of their wages of the wage bill for this season.
So the club has about 24 hours left in the extended transfer window to do this.
That’s leaving it late.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Rolando Aarons, the 24-year-old winger, could make a permanent move to Huddersfield Town.
Since his contract runs out next summer, the Magpies will be very keen to get some transfer fee for the player this summer, so we expect that deal to go through unless Aarons balks at the move.
Christian Atsu – Magpies trying to move the player out on loan
Aarons has been a huge disappointment at Newcastle after looking so very promising when he first broke into the first team.
The 24 year-old has only made 27 appearances for Newcastle with 4 goals and 3 assists.
We also need to move Christian Atsu, Achraf Lazaar, and Henri Saivet out before tomorrow night.
We do expect Atsu to go somewhere – probably on loan to a Championship club, but maybe Lazaar and Saivet will be left to kick their heels (so to speak), and train with the U23 squad until January, while picking up their wages at the club.
As manager Steve Bruce has rightly said, that’s not healthy for them or for Newcastle.
But that’s the type of thing that happens when you make long-term poor signings.
24 hours to go, so let’s hope we can move out at the very least – two players.
What do you think?

Comment #4I’d say send them out even if it means you pay
100 % of the wages if for no other reason to show the rest one your gone your gone regardless
It leaves the people at the club only the ones you want
Send them to Sunderland, would be nice for us to save them lmfao

Nothing with hard evidence but there’s been bits of reports of this and that.
One was that PIF have had several clubs contact them from the premier league and across Europe to see if they would interested in purchasing but there answer was they want to wait for Newcastle United.
Apparently the Saudis and PIF have took heart in what us fans have done since the pullout and wouldn’t want any other club than us and the project that was sold to them.
