Our Loan Report Sees Two Debuts And Another Goal For Local Lad

Elias Sorensen made his belated debut for Almere City on Thursday at Den Bosch. The match had been delayed due to Covid-19 issues. Elias started in the 1-1 draw but as expected due to his lack of match sharpness, struggled to have much of an impact on the game. He was replaced in the 61st minute but it’s great to see Sorensen get another opportunity on loan. Let’s hope he can find success with Almere City this season.

Freddie Woodman was back in the starting eleven for Swansea after missing their last match with an illness. Woodman had his streak of three straight clean sheets snapped as Swansea lost for the first time in the league 2-1 at home to Huddersfield. The loss drops The Swans to 4th in the Championship.

Kelland Watts was handed another start for Plymouth this afternoon. The defender made it count as his 86th-minute volley from a corner sealed a 2-1 win at home against Northampton. It was his second goal for The Pilgrims after scoring in the league cup in September. Watts was active once again with 92 touches and over 80 passes. He also had 3 clearances. The win moves Plymouth up to 6th in League One.

Jake Turner got another start for Morecambe this afternoon. The Shrimps started the day leading League Two after three straight league wins. However, today’s trip to Crawley Town was one to forget as they were soundly defeated 4-0. After a scoreless first half, right-back George Francomb opened the scoring in the 52nd minute. Young Max Watters, who had come on as a substitute to start the second half, added two in the 67th and 71st minutes. Winger Tyler Frost piled on the misery with a 77th-minute strike. It was a tough afternoon for Jake who managed just one save while his teammates only had one shot on target.

Midfielder Jack Young made his debut as a second-half substitute at Newport County. Jack came on in the 65th minute with Rovers down a goal and a man after Paul Lewis was sent off early in the second half. Newport’s Saikou Janneh scored in the 25th minute which ended up being enough for Newport to get the win.

Tom Allen and Mo Sangare both didn’t feature in Accrington Stanley’s 2-0 loss at Ipswich today.

I head a rumour that tsunki has had his teddy bear collection stolen and he is going through a grieving process.

Give the lad some time please everyone.

    UT/W,
I’d love to see Wearside Jack back here with Forest in a cup
when fans are allowed back in, his reception would be interesting.

    Jail,

He must have took a sizeable pay cut joining Forest after milking us for his Premiership wages. If we asked him about it he’d roll out the short career diatribe!

    Jail,

Having said that, he probably held them to ransom as a freebie!

I’m alright Jack is his motto!

    Mund,..

    Grieving process

    1. Denial and isolation; 2. Anger; 3. Bargaining; 4. Depression; 5. Acceptance.

To be fair we see this every day on here without Tsunki

Just checked fridge for match, Carling levels perilously low, emergency replenishment action required to avert disaster. Plenty time for a shop run before game, phew!

Watched a lot of the top teams this season and I,ve noticed, they ALL concede goals ! Their defence,s ar,nt what they used to be and this gives all other teams more than a chance to beat them. It is going to be a vary open season this year, if only we can get a good momentum going, attack teams as this our strong point and be consistent, we could surprise a few teams. As Nike would say….. Let’s Do It………. HWTL

    beermonkey,

watched.com Did not work well for me on laptop. Way to much buffering.

What worked for me was installing “Bluestacks” an Android emulator and then installing redboxtv.apk into bluestacks.

No buffering that way (for me at least).

For Puck Ford not to be sent off for yet another wild and dangerous tackle beggars belief.

Surely the refs are not protecting one of nine

    From the BBC,
Newcastle have had eight shots on target, the lowest in the PL.
Is that including the two penalties?
