Bruce Makes Four Changes In Our Predicted Lineup For Chelsea

This is the team we think Steve Bruce will name for tomorrow’s match at St James Park against Chelsea. It has four changes from the defeat at Southampton.

Hopefully, Bruce will play it safe and not risk Callum Wilson, Jonjo Shelvey, or Matt Ritchie. Our team is predicated on that assumption. There’s also a good probability that he stays with three men at the back with wingbacks.

There’s a good chance both Ciaran Clark and Matty Longstaff come into Bruce’s thinking for this one. Clark was a late call up for the Republic of Ireland but did not feature.

He was outstanding when fit last season on the left side of the back three. Fabian Schar gets dropped to make way for the 31-year-old. The other defenders keep their place with Jamal Lewis and Jacob Murphy returning to the flanks.

The midfield sees two changes with Bruce bringing Isaac Hayden back into the defensive midfield role and Matty Longstaff replacing his brother Sean in midfield. Bruce has to drop Jeff Hendrick at some point as he’s just not produced the goods of late. It’s a tough call on Sean but Matty is really desperate for game time.

We could see Miguel Almiron left out with him only returning to Newcastle late Thursday. However, he didn’t play for Paraguay against Bolivia on Tuesday so we’re edging toward him getting another start.

Upfront, Allan Saint-Maximin stays as the number 10, though he really hasn’t impressed there over the past three matches. Joelinton gets the call over Andy Carroll as he is more versatile if changes need to be made on the fly.

    Love this line…

“We are being told by the Premier League to back away from our case while they fight another case.

“Call me a simple Geordie, if you like, but tell me this… If you robbed a bank in January and then you stole a car in August, can you tell the man who owned the car not to take you to court because you were busy dealing with the bank robbery case?

This isn’t going away and the league let’s not forget has all the media people on there side, well most of but definitely the prime media outlets.

They have bartered this takeover during the process and they will make out there’s no hope left but do not listen.

Control the media control the world.

We this fan base knows exactly how we have been treated over these 13 years by Ashley and the discontent that the Southern media and other fan bases we have is criminal.

These lads won’t lie down and nor will DeMarco and Co.

Time to dismantle the corruption within football, time to let the world see what we see and then we will be born into a new era.

He’s getting excited, convinced it’s going to happen but not sure how long it will take. As he says all that matters is new guys coming in with cash and hopes no matter how long deal can be done to buy players in January

I know I will as I think we need to add as much pressure as we did before bring them footers down

Everyday i get more and more confident with what we read. Mr Patterson certainly sounds it and honestly I felt the strength from his words and it rallied me. Brilliant to see Patterson and Stein do this it really is incredible.

Evening all, its been quite a cold day but the news has been pretty hot, quite a bit to mull over.
What we read today is probably just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to corruption in football, and in our case, the PL.
If De Marco and co are as thorough in their investigations as they are reputed to be, the best in the country apparently, then they should have a field day in court, if it gets that far.
The last 2 days has been interesting, things could be looking up in our black and white world at last.

Very true Mund, it’s never dull being a toon fan anyway haha

Sounds like these guys are really passionate and are confident in their case, hopefully they’re right and don’t get scared away or back off at all. Keep the pressure right on the league.

I imagine De Marco and the team are playing it a lot more by the book. He’s a strict professional so can only assume he’s doing everything right by the book, so nothing can be used against their team. Aka no publishing information around the case, leaks and keeping it all strictly private etc.

The fact that we’ve recently heard the league broke confidentiality surrounding the case with Ashley, would suggest that we haven’t heard much from that side of things as they were actually sticking to keeping it confidential.

I think these boys will be in it for as long as it takes. They do have a good case tho and like they said if they have nothing to hide then they should just allow them to look at what they want to see.

Like Keith also said he knows exactly what document they want to see so it would be quite easily done. But we all know by now they don’t want them to see these documents because I truly believe it will incriminate them
