Newcastle secured a vital three points at Crystal Palace. They did so in dramatic fashion with two goals in the closing minutes to down the Eagles.
There was one Magpie involved in both goals. That was our Brazilian forward Joelinton. The 24-year-old’s perfectly weighted and placed pass to Callum Wilson was absolutely brilliant. Our leading scorer then did the rest slotting the ball between Vicente Guaita’s legs to take the lead.
Then Joelinton was played in by Wilson and he did very well to juke Scott Dann in the box. His shot wasn’t great but it did deflect off Gary Cahill to sneak by Guaita and put the match out of reach.
Joelinton’s finishing wasn’t great all evening but he kept plugging away and got his just rewards. His overall performance was outstanding. In addition to his 7 shots, Joelinton won 4 tackles and 6 aerial duels.
His performance on the night was probably best described by Andy Carroll, who tweeted the following in response to a tweet from Newcastle United.
Absolutely brilliant from our number 9 tonight. Never stopped working and a well deserved goal to top it off!!

Joelinton has also won our poll as the Man of the Match from Friday’s win. He collects 44% of the over 2,000 votes to win his first poll of the season. The fantastic Karl Darlow comes in second with 28% of the vote.

You need to understand NCLS and what they are trying to achieve from there legal case.
They know exactly which document they are want to see and if they win the case and get to pull the so called document/s then it will blow it wide open mate.
