Report – Newcastle Leading Race For Promising League One Youngster

Newcastle did very well to sign Matthew Bondswell last month after he mutually agreed to leave RB Leipzig earlier in the year. The promising 18-year-old had a few suitors but ultimately chose Newcastle for future first-team opportunities.

Adding young British talent to the Academy is going to be crucial to Newcastle’s future after Brexit. Bondswell is an exciting young left-back who has represented England up to the U18 level.

Hopefully, Newcastle will continue the trend of adding youngsters each window as they have done over the past few years. If a recent report in The Mail is accurate, Newcastle already have another youngster in their sights for this summer.

Simon Jones is reporting that Newcastle are leading the race for Wigan’s Kyle Joseph. The 19-year-old is out of contract this summer but Newcastle are reportedly prepared to pay £850k in compensation to help seal the deal.

Joseph broke into the Wigan first team this season but has been out of action since late January with a back injury. Before his injury, he impressed scoring 5 league goals in 14 appearances.

The striker is a former Scottish U19 international and was in talks with Celtic earlier this year. He’s also been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham in the past. However, it looks like Newcastle could be closing to agreeing on a deal for the youngster.

    Tfb,
It does on FPL as does getting tripped for a pen and someone else conerting it, but if the taker gets tripped he doesn’t get the assist, not sure why, maybe it would make everyone include only the penalty takers and they want to see the players more evenly distributed.

It depends what context it’s used in, it’s certainly disgusting if used as a joke but I’m not sure why he mentioned him, it’s better if we don;t.

This Man City win means there will definitely be a new Champion this year.
Liverpool cannot now catch them, it’s between the 2 Manchesters now with City obvious favourites.

Jail I won’t accept you don’t know what banter is as you work offshore and your a sparky and I know you will of heard all sorts and I know for a fact if you acted that way back then you would of been hammered.

Some craic is deemed good some bad and that’s in the eye of the beholder. But it’s still craic, just because you don’t find it funny no need to start branding people creepy.

Nearly took his ball with him too until Barclay said he would fetch it round after the game.

Elmanio, nope, no stories on him moving here – but that’s not surprising, there’s very little “gossip” stuff here, maybe if one of the kids turns up at a ball or similar social function and it make’s What’s On or similar, but otherwise you won’t hear it officially.

    Where did you here it?

    Tfb,
The own goal assist seems to be made up as it goes along though, and seems to be at the discretion of FPL towers, more like who’s in their team.

There’s no way that I’ve ever claimed to know who, if in fact there are any, so called PR.

What I do sense is that you are not what you’re suggesting you are.

Play the innocent by all means but you have shown your slip on a few occasions.

There’s a saying comes to mind…..You can fool some of the people etc.

    Poor innocent you.

    :sob:
