Newcastle Release Training Video And Images But Still No Confirmation On Contracts

Newcastle United have provided a glimpse of our new home shirt from Castore. Here is the photo showing a partial image of the shirt. It will go on sale on July 10th but hopefully, we’ll get a proper unveiling before then.

Some of the lads were photographed on Tuesday morning entering the facilities. The club also released some images of the boys running on the grass.

Here is a two-minute video of the lads back at the facilities preparing for their run out on the grass.

There are quite a few players not shown in the video. The four Magpies involved in the European Championships are expected to get an extra bit of rest. So it’s no surprise Martin Dubravka, Emil Krafth, Fabian Schar, and Ryan Fraser were not back at the training ground this week.

The same goes for Miguel Almiron who was with Paraguay at the Copa America. Almiron suffered a minor knee injury against Uruguay in the final group stage. Without Miggy, Paraguay lost to Peru on penalties last Friday in the quarter-finals.

It could be revealing that Andy Carroll and Federico Fernandez weren’t spotted in the video or any of the images. Both of their contracts expired on June 30th and there’s been no retained list released by the club.

Dwight Gayle and Paul Dummett were both at the ground without Newcastle confirming their extensions. However, there were a number of other players like Allan Saint-Maximin and the Longstaff brothers who weren’t spotted either. So it’s hard to decipher what the situation is with Andy and Fede at the moment.

Loch, he’ll be dead. But we love seeing our gaa shirts appear. The Irish and Italians tend to relate together much better than Irish and Spanish.

Assuming you see the full Amanda interview, you’ll hear her, near the end of it, making noises about being prepared to compromise.

In my book, that’s offering the EPL a way out of the corner it’s painted itself into.

If EPL are willing to talk, we might just hear of an end to legal proceedings and approval of the takover.

    Or then again, maybe not.

    Munster.

    Here’s the FULL Stavely interview.

The questions are clearly pre-agreed and she’s decided what message she’s putting out. You’ll hear references to compromise near the end.

Well that was a good game – doubt tomorrow’s will be as good but hope it’s not as close and we win without the tenseness

Did say to Lilongwe the other day thg that i would take two 1-0 wins and i still would just to finally get that monkey off our backs and win a competition

Assuming we get through tomorrow, I think the Italians will cause us some bother. We’ll have to be absolutely on our game with no faffing about and passing it backwards and sideways. We can’t do the crisp passing that Spain started with tonight but we can run at them with the attacking talent we have. Fingers crossed.

I’ll feel bad for my Danish mates back in Hobro, but we HAVE to get to that final.

The way I see it, if the gvmt go crackers over a £100M inward investment into the North West, to build electric vans, they should be pulling every stunt they can to gain a £300M+ investment into the North East, particularly when that is just the start of the investment, not a patch on the total to be established.

Someone has to be telling the PL to get their bloody fingers out and resolve this. Surely. 🙂

And my takeover vote is sadly a no, but I hope I’m horribly wrong. If we can splash the cash and challenge in the league again then I’ll happily take all the ‘I told you so’s’ you can dish out 🙂

I know that outwardly, any public utterances will be, it’s up to the football authorities, but behind the scenes they’ve got to be kicking arses haven’t they?

Welcome back Lesh mate, we cant afford to lose anymore quality bloggers not forgetting a true gentleman.

What a classic match tonight, i just love the raw passion of the of the Italians, and what about their captain Giorgio Chiellini one of the true characters in world football, and still one of the defenders in the world at 37
