Agents Reveal Magpie Signed Up Until 2027

On Wednesday, Newcastle confirmed that five Magpies have signed new deals. Paul Dummett and Fabian Schar have had one-year extensions triggered while Jacob Murphy, Federico Fernandez, and Dwight Gayle are all on new contracts.

Unfortunately, Newcastle provided little information on these contracts other than to confirm the quintet are under contract for the upcoming season. So the length of the deals for Fernandez, Gayle, and Murphy were not made available.

It has been reported that Gayle’s contract is for three years which would tie him down until 2024. It’s also been suggested that Newcastle could cash in on the striker should a suitable offer come in this summer despite this new deal.

It’ll be very interesting to see if Fernandez is on a multi-year deal. There were reports that Newcastle had an option to extend him for another year like Dummett and Schar. However, the statement from the club suggests that he is on a new contract like Gayle and Murphy.

As for Murphy, his representatives at New Era Global Sports have congratulated him on their Instagram Account. They have revealed that Jacob has signed a new six-year contract, which is excellent news for the 26-year-old. This is what was said in their post:

Huge congratulations to client @jacobmurphy95 who has signed a new 6-year contract with @nufc.

We look forward to the season ahead and continuing the journey with you Jacob!

There’s still no news on Andy Carroll who reportedly has been offered another one-year deal. It’s uncertain if the same incentive-laden terms as the past two seasons. Hopefully, we’ll get some news on Andy’s future in the coming days.

Murphy has improved no bounds over the last season but a 6 year deal?

Good move for Murphy & NUFC, he,s a very versatile player, can play in a few positions, not great, but is willing to learn and very committed and passionate for the team, IMO.

Got to get your sav circumcised, it’s the only way man! Anyone who doesn’t know what we’re talking about is going to wonder what hell is going on 🙂

Saveloy sandwich – dipped – pease pudding – mustard – skins off. That was my regular order. When they opened a shop on Boldon Lane I was screwed. I was eating them nearly every day. And the first day they opened it was buy one, get one free. I had a bloody field day! Plus I went to school with one of the lasses who used to work there so she would always throw an extra sav into my sandwich for me. Happy days!

Thanks for the info about JB’s new lineup.

Lindley’s website tour dates haven’t been updated since 2020. Maybe he just can’t be arsed. But, no reissues of his bootlegs, no tour dates, no replies to emails…..

Anyway, I’ve seen Jackson a couple of times and him an Lindley a few years ago at the Albert Hall. They did the ‘Love is Strange’ set plus. Thoroughly enjoyed it and seeing Lindley, a musician’s musician.

My American missus makes me pease pudding here and it’s spot on. She’s also learned to make stuff like Bakewell tart, iced buns, lemon drizzle cake, amongst others.

I’m off the sugar now for health reasons but it was fun while it lasted 🙂

Cheers for the info re the medicines. Don’t know for sure if it is gout but it suddenly flared up about 5 weeks ago, have seen the doc and had an xray which shows wear and tear, (too much sport!)’

I cut out alcohol completely which seemed to have eased it a bit but it’s still lurking!

Hopefully it’ll just go but need to go back for check up in a couple of weeks.

Wouldn’t wish the pain it caused on anyone.

Can you imagine what it must be like to be an Alcoholic with gout, I don’t mean me by the way! 🙂
