Newcastle Release Short Video Of Co-Owners Meeting Players And Coaching Staff

Newcastle United have released over a minute’s worth of video footage of Amanda Staveley and Mehrdad Ghodoussi meeting the players and coaching staff at the training ground today.

We can see the two co-owners shaking hands with Allan Saint-Maximin, Jamaal Lascelles, and Martin Dubravka amongst others. The duo later went out on the training pitch to watch some of today’s session.

This is a transitional week not only off the pitch but on it as well. We must turn the tide against Spurs on Sunday with some star players expected back in training this week.

Callum Wilson, Jonjo Shelvey, Paul Dummett, Jamaal Lascelles, and Martin Dubravka have all missed significant time with their various injuries. Joe Willock also was forced off against Wolves with a hip injury.

Hopefully, we’ll get a positive fitness update this week along with some images of the players in training.

He definitely plays or has played in the past with that footwork, very comfy with a ball at his feet.

Noticeably, Bruce is not shown in either of the released videos.

Must be gone. Maybe he was asked to call in and see the new bosses at the stadium this afternoon before going home?? 🙂

Slightly disappointed the league won’t get shown up for the corrupt lot they are. I think we can safely assume that the CAT case played a decent role in getting this done and the league were scared.

The Crown Prince, imagine if that photo of them two was actually just a teaser for Sunday’s lineup haha

Are you even from the North East? Anyone who is understands the rivalry between us and the the Mackems. To compare Bruce to Clarky is a joke. Yes, it’s a blot on Lee’s copybook a bit, but he redeemed himself in eyes with his amazing t-shirt…

    https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/peter-reid-lee-clarks-shirt-13720545

Bruce never came out and had a pop at Sunderland like that, did he? As I said, he’s really not one of us at all.

So, Ashley withdraws his anti competition claim on the 8th in writing, the defendant (PL) agree on same day and no application is made regarding “costs” ie legal fees.

God I want to know what Ashley has screwed them for?

Whatever it is (and I hope it’s substantial) I don’t begrudge him a penny, because without the PL’s obstruction we’d have got this euphoria 20 Months ago, and without the CAT case, we wouldn’t have it yet. Bastards the lot of them. 🙂

Imagine what ASM is going to do to Spurs on Sunday with that unbelievable atmosphere at SJP. And if we can get 60 minutes out of Wilson (without him straining anything and making his injury worse) then I’ll be chuffed with that too.

Having Bruce in the dugout will definitely be troublesome in that party atmosphere.

Did Amanda have salt and sauce with her canteen chips?

Bruce had left the building or was not allowed in?

Any sign of the other Steve’s?

This all looks like a well rehearsed plan.

    Good.

    Anyone who UNDERSTOOD the rivalry.

For i barely see any rivalry at all in the coming years…

Sure, both the cities being archrivals since the middle ages, i guess it’s not a big deal to wait let say 200 or 300 hundred years to see the mackems buyed by the Alfa Centauri confederation of trade and being competitive again.

I can see as we haven’t really heard much from KK or Shearer them both being introduced to the fans in some capacity to the club against Spurs on Sunday.
Talk about a lift to the fans and players. Legends, fcuking Legends.

I’ve a feeling Bruce was in that room they walked into. Is that his office I wonder. It is odd that they cut filming there and resumed outside, and that they greated a lot of the coaching staff but not Bruce. Bet he was hiding in his office.

Shearer has said plenty in various media and can’t be there because of TV obligations. Might change, but sounded pretty definitive when he said it on Newcastle Fans TV.

Keegan has been radio silent which leads me to believe he will emerge on Sunday.

Niafron – Yes we can look at better players with the new owners. That is a different discussion though.

As for manager – I think we need a stop gap manager to take us through end of the season and secure PL status.

I don’t think it’s Jones. He’s a coach, and a good one by all accounts. But he isn’t a manager. Hate to say this, but I see Jones like people saw McClaren before we brought him in. Jones can be in charge against Spurs but we need the new manager soon after.

If the rumours of Al Rumyyan being there on Sunday are true then I seriously doubt Bruce will be there, the game will be live in Saudi Arabia for the first time to the millions of new fans. Seriously don’t think the PIF want Bruce being beamed all over the globe licking the greenies off the end of his nose.

Steve Bruce needs to be removed from this club ASAP never to return.
He has brought shame and embarassment on us with his incompetence and belittling comments and has no place here and never has had.
His profile from Manure’s glory days coupled with all his back slapping pundit pals rallying round and cosying up to him has kept him employed despite his dismal record.
It is no longer about him and managing his 1000th game as we now have bigger fish ro fry with people who seem genuinely interested in seeing our club succeed.
So do one Steve Bruce and please don’t darken the door of SJP ever again you phoney.

The 94% that wanted Bruce out includes me. But I, like many others, wasn’t responding to the suggestion that Bruce needed to be gone that very minute. I, like many others, believe our entire coaching staff needs to be gone; not just Bruce. And gone as quick as possible. Not quicker.

Bruce is not big enough to change the results of a game singlehandedly. Lapsed concentration of just one of the defenders can on the other hand can turn the table against us pretty easy.

When player are unsettled lapses would be common. And unsettled everyone were with all the uncertainty about CAT case and ownership issues. It would continue to be unsettling with folks baying for blood: trying to get rid of Bruce, Woodman or Joelinton with no replacement lined up. These things usually don’t happen within the hour or within the day. That wouldn’t sound nice to the majority but that’s what I think.

But forget about London’s people and all the self nominated champions of morality.

What do you think? Are you happy about the whole story?

As i said once ago, my father is from morocco, so i can’t be suspected to have anything against the arabs being the proud son of an arab tribe myself.

But the saudi… well you know…

So what are your inner feelings about that?

    Next big blog rivalries?

Surely the enduring Rafa / Bruce comparison will be a thing of the past. (Then again…)

Size of the stadium? Location? Take it slowly, make it fast?
Favre should have been given more chance, Conte better / worse?
Should’ve bought Ronaldo, not Messi? Both too old, new blood needed?

Hmm Not wishing to be a miserable old sod during this wonderful Euphoria. Just one little thought in the back of this old mind after watching Newcastle for just over 70 years and having witnessed what I am about to say. What if the players on Sunday say what the hell they are getting rid of me anyway if I play s**t does it matter I will get paid regardless. Now you might say no intelligent footballer would do this as if they are sold on in say January they would want to play well to attract another club? One. have you ever met a really intelligent footballer who thought after his next paycheck? Two surely it is the agent’s job to sell them to their next club. All smiles and handshakes today How many were genuine? You never know perhaps and I hope I am correct they will run out on Sunday and really try.
Now that would be nice to see a team really trying.
Just do not get too excited about Sunday until we see which team shows up. You never know they may have told Bruce we are replacing you but we will let you have your 1000th game as a manager. Now prepare the team to really play well. Yikes!

There’s no way in the world that the team picked against Spurs won’t be 110% committed to winning that game.
You misjudge the effect that 52000 screaming at them will have.
Whatever their deeper thoughts, they will play they’re hearts out!
Whether they’re good enough is another matter but fear not they will be trying!
