Prolific Canadian International Offered To Newcastle By Representatives – Report

Another day and another player has been added to Newcastle’s ever-deepening reservoir of links. Just yesterday, Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie resurfaced as a target with The Mail claiming the American is ‘under consideration’ for January.

The midfielder was initially linked in 2020 just before the takeover’s initial collapse. He moved to Juventus later that summer and is now an established regular in Turin.

Last week, another North American in Jonathan David followed a similar path back onto Newcastle’s radar. Like McKennie, the Canadian international was initially linked in 2020 before moving from Belgium’s Gent to Lille.

Now David’s international teammate Cyle Larin (shown above) has reportedly been offered to Newcastle. Unlike McKennie and David, Larin has not previously been linked that we know of. Turkish outlet Sporx claim Newcastle and Watford have been contacted by the players representative over a potential move.

Larin will have just 6 months remaining on his contract in January. He is seeking a weekly wage in the £45k region while Besiktas are offering under £30k. The stalled talks could see the Canadian offloaded in the winter window.

Like David, Larin has been prolific in front of the net everywhere he has played. The 26-year-old has bagged 109 goals in his career including 20 in his 43 caps for Canada. He has 36 goals in 84 appearances for Besiktas.

Newcastle have reportedly been barraged with agents looking for lucrative deals for their clients. That could be the case with Larin. Whether Newcastle have any concrete interest in the right-footed left winger is uncertain as we are reportedly seeking Premier League proven talent in January.

Larin is an interesting player who is an outstanding finisher. However, he is likely just one of a number of players whose agents are seeking a lucrative move to Newcastle United.

Tremendous comedy blogging on the blog today. Cannot beat this giggle site.

Some barely literate people bragging they have read a whole load of books – tremendous comedy blogging.

I was half expecting a few posts revealing these posters had just read the complete Encyclopædia Britannica works just before breakfast to fill in half an hours free time.

I kna yeez iliterates can hardly write never mind reading major literary works – give it a rest with ya mischief and get back to your normal reading matter – The Beano, The Dandy and the Adventures of Noddy.

    Hahahaha.

    Re. McKennie

There are a lot of good players in the MLS we should have a scout there permanently, Josef Martinez is banging in goals for fun again and the Scot Johnny Russel is having a great season for SKC.
