Newcastle’s two postponed fixtures – away trips to Southampton and Everton – have finally been rescheduled. The two matches, originally slated for the end of December, will now take place on the following dates:
- Southampton – Thursday, 10th of March at 7:30pm
- Everton – Thursday, 17th of March at 7:45pm
The two matches were postponed after Newcastle made appeals to the Premier League over a lack of available players. The squad was suffering from a spate of positive Covid cases and injuries as 2020 came to a close.
Newcastle now have 7 matches scheduled before the international break in final weeks of March. Here is an updated fixture list through that period:
- West Ham (Away) – Saturday, 19th of February at 12:30pm
- Brentford (Away) – Saturday, 26th of February at 3pm
- Brighton – Saturday, 5th of March at 3pm
- Southampton (Away) – Thursday, 10th of March at 7:30pm
- Chelsea (Away) – Sunday, 13th of March at 2pm
- Everton (Away) – Thursday, 17th of March at 7:45pm
- Crystal Palace – Saturday, 19th of March at 3pm
That is a very compact schedule over the next month. Newcastle’s depth in certain areas should come into play in a few of those matches. Though the club really can’t afford many more injuries over this period.

5 games in 14 days. If Bruno hasn’t started a game by that time then that fixture period wil definitely see him start. Will see some changes around those fixtures due to fatigue and fitness levels i’m sure.

Some are better at disguising it than others.
Faux outrage is very prevalent on here but easily spotted.
