Newcastle’s Two Postponed Matches Have Been Rescheduled For March

Newcastle’s two postponed fixtures – away trips to Southampton and Everton – have finally been rescheduled. The two matches, originally slated for the end of December, will now take place on the following dates:

  • Southampton – Thursday, 10th of March at 7:30pm
  • Everton – Thursday, 17th of March at 7:45pm

The two matches were postponed after Newcastle made appeals to the Premier League over a lack of available players. The squad was suffering from a spate of positive Covid cases and injuries as 2020 came to a close.

Newcastle now have 7 matches scheduled before the international break in final weeks of March. Here is an updated fixture list through that period:

  • West Ham (Away) – Saturday, 19th of February at 12:30pm
  • Brentford (Away) – Saturday, 26th of February at 3pm
  • Brighton – Saturday, 5th of March at 3pm
  • Southampton (Away) – Thursday, 10th of March at 7:30pm
  • Chelsea (Away) – Sunday, 13th of March at 2pm
  • Everton (Away) – Thursday, 17th of March at 7:45pm
  • Crystal Palace – Saturday, 19th of March at 3pm

That is a very compact schedule over the next month. Newcastle’s depth in certain areas should come into play in a few of those matches. Though the club really can’t afford many more injuries over this period.

    5th, 10th, 13th, 17th and 19th March.

5 games in 14 days. If Bruno hasn’t started a game by that time then that fixture period wil definitely see him start. Will see some changes around those fixtures due to fatigue and fitness levels i’m sure.

    Raj, yes of course.

Salah captained gives more points than anyone else.

Ahh, our Bruno, suppose have to call the other one Fernandes now. I’d bench him DMicky, I think he’s more likely to assist the assister rather than get points himself.

Crystal Palace, if they beat Stoke in the FA cup, will result in a rescheduled game…The schedule makes better reading if so….All we need to do is damage limitation against Chelsea

Sorry regarding my previous post. I misread the banner comment and thought that tomorrow’s game was cancelled. Actually the rescheduled games dates are terrible. No favours for us at all. Just another kick at our team.

Just been to Docs for wor lass’s medication and it is now absolutely wild out there after a surprsingly quiet afternoon despite forecast saying from 1:00pm 60 + mph ( thought we had escaped)

Hope coach has passed through eye of storm in Yorkshire

Players will be fine with their Beats on won’t even notice

Folk on here are quite hypocritical – time over the years shows everyone that there are obvious online friendship on here and regardless of what is said all the mates stick together and back each other up, seen it over many years
Some are better at disguising it than others.

Faux outrage is very prevalent on here but easily spotted.

Some posters conveniently do not comment on some posts of a filthy/disgusting nature – conveniently they were off the blog that day or looking the other way.

The players should be forced to listen to something proper heavy, simultaneously, to get into the correct frame of collective mind…not soppy pop pap!

    5 away games in there!

Maybe tomorrow’s match should be postponed as well and moved to May, when Trippier might be back

Looks like Stadium like structures are a risk!!

The Government needs to step in and curtail the power of the big six. All the bad stuff will come again – and football will be ruined.

I think he will start Lascelles tomorrow over Schar. I thought he would have as we need Lascelles pace with Antonio. And hearing the interview today I think he will. I mean Lascelles was great against Everton as well. He might play Schar right back although not sure.

Time for a change of avatar.

I was already smitten with Staveley, but this business with her ripping down the Sports Direct signs, and then revealing how Ashley wasn’t paying for advertising… wow, that just seals it for me. Absolutely love that woman.

    Jail@96 last thread

haha – I am sure that it may not have escaped others attention that you sound a bit like someone else who would like to move on

Maybe someone can regale us with “The Big Picture” of your many consecutive posts records, your greetings in different languages on breakfast club, your success in the Archive digging – you know distract us

You’ve a hide like a rhino and if others don’t keep raising it then as yesterday I will move on

I didn’t start this today nor did i directly address you about it as far as I recall since your rather poor explanation yesterday

I commented on matter as others did but from the other perspective

It will go away as all issues do but I do wish you had done the simple and right thing

No doubt as i’ve been catching up I missed those posts where you told all those rallying behind you to move on
