Luke Edwards has taken to Twitter in the wake of a report that Newcastle have moved on from Ekitike. Edwards believes there is still some lingering hope an agreement can be reached but for now, other options are being looked at.
A lot of talk on Ekitike again today #nufc haven’t given up yet but as i said earlier in the week they are looking at other targets now and they are getting increasingly irritated with the way things are being handled. The kid is being badly advised basically

The obstacle appears to be solely down to Ekitike’s agents. 90min’s Graeme Bailey reported this morning that the striker’s representatives are seeking excessive fees. He claimed Newcastle have walked away but are willing to return should they soften their demands.
There isn’t much more in these recent updates from Edwards’ report earlier in the week. The move has been stalled by Ekitike’s agents, who are looking to cash in on the transfer of their client. They’ve not have much success with Newcastle so they are shopping him around Europe.
Ekitike appears keen to make the jump to Tyneside. If nothing develops in the next few weeks from other clubs, it will put pressure on his agents to return to Newcastle and reach an agreement.

You do not need to be a rocket surgeon or brain scientist to find old posts. You do not need to have a backlog or a an app that stores them, you do not have to be a computer genius. You simply need to put the key words of a post ie FFP doesn’t affect us name of person nufcblog.com if someone has been blathering on about it enough the post should appear.

It’s just that he has the same scatter brain approach to posting on a football blog as JFA.
I initially thought the blog was rid of him only to find it seems that he had regressed still further.
If it’s any consolation to you I also find his persona thoroughly irritating somewhat like swatting a persistent fly at a barbecue.
On a more favourable note it was good to see that Mr Tuff is still going strong and that he has not lost his sense of humour. I have much respect for Mr Tuff and my fleeting time on here after so many years gives me the opportunity to say so.

Well, if it can interest someone, the Botola ( first division moroccan championship ) will come to an end soon with 3 or 4 games remaining for each team ( and the Mouloudia Oujda got a tremendous game to play tonight against a direct rival in the relegation battle…).
For the title, the Wydad Casablanca is 6 points ahead of his archrival of Raja Casblanca ( one of the craziest derby in the world ) with 3 games remaining for each.
