nufcTV have just put out another excellent interview with our new 22-year-old striker Alexander Isak: the 37 times capped (9 goals) Swedish International signed for around £60M from Real Sociedad.
He seems another excellent character that Eddie Howe has brought into the club, and he has excellent skills with a great temperament.
Our fans are going to love this lad!
He’s comes across as very down to earth and simply wants to take every game as it comes – very calm, but there’s a quiet confidence about this player.
Let’s hope he can score again tomorrow afternoon, when we are at home to a very good Crystal Palace side.
We need to get back to our winning ways tomorrow.

Comment #1WLtoon totally agree with your post @43 fella. Its gonna be a toughy, it will be a good contect that’s for sure. Asyou are right about the8r very dangerous front 3, I wonder if they will keep Burn of bring Botman back in? Burn had a fantastic game on Wednesday I thought he was a other beast. His positional sense and workmate is second to none and a hard Geordie lol. Saying that I think EH will bring Botman back in as he is more mobile and can play out from the back better which will be needed for Palace, you can’t do that as well with the scouse Scum. We will see but looking forward to the game so we can get what happened on Wednesday oot our systems. Bloody criminal it was pal.

Comment #2Main man Isak, what a signing.
He is the type of calibre player we will be bringing through the door in the future and like D-ream said in the song ` things can only get better`

Think Howe will go with Botman for this home game anarl, unless he rewards Burn with a start after his super show on Wednesday.
That`s the thing now , we have good options at CB, quality.
Howe will have his reasons no matter who he plays.
Re Wednesday`s game, i still can`t get over that fkin last kick winner, , iv`e never been so gutted over a goal since we lost against the mackems , and that was years ago.

Comment #5WLtoon, Isak is frightening from what I witnessed on Wednesday both his goals were taken so so well. He will cause some problems this season. Wonder what the chances of him hitting 20 + this season (cups included) I think there is a fair chance he can. He moves and composes himself like a certain Andy Cole. But gonna personally I believe he has the potential to be better, what I like about the young man is his calmness in front of the camera, speaks so well and calm and signs of a great character. That’s what EH goes for professionals With a good character, who he can work with and buy into our new project. Great signing and so excited to see him and as you say more signings of Isak calibre.

Comment #9I was surprised to see the pairing of Lascelles & Burn on Wednesday. I assume it was Eddie looking ahead to tomorrow and realizing Schar & Botman needed the rest. It’ll be interesting to see tomorrow’s pairing. Burn seems tough to drop, but I prefer Targett, Botman, Schar, Trippier as the back four.
If Bruno & ASM are still out tomorrow, it’s going to be a massive disappointment.
I can’t believe the last two days of TDS defending the Isak offside call.

Comment #10That goal was the most devastating since Collymore. And you then have to watch Klippety cavort around. Sickening

I wanted him in January but no way would he have been interested in the position we were in, so Wood was about all we could expect really.
Im not sure Isak will notch 20 because i just think Howe will rotate once Wilson is fit, and im not sure Isak will start in certain cup games either, so his appearances may be limited a tad, but he is something special , no doubt about it.
He stood out lime a sore thumb in the Euro`s for Sweden and has just got better since then.
It`s a lot of money to pay for a young inexperienced player like him, but i think the fee will be justified in no time.

Comment #12Every bindipper goal against us is sickening. Much worse than a mackem goal. The mackems are an irrelevance but Dippers always seem to hurt us. History is about to change. I would love to go to Anfield and look at Klippety on the end of a 6 0

Comment #13WLtoon I couldn’t rest that night (Wednesday) it played around in me head I couldn’t even gan to kip, haha. But unfortunately that’s football, it can be so amazing and exilerating, one game and then the next it can hurt like how it did against Liverpool. As we have such a bright future, the nasty horror gut wrenching results will be a lot less. Not sure about you mate, but I believe in Karma, and Klopp will be due a big dollop of that for how he went on during and after the game. This guy was like a breath of fresh air when he came to the UK, but he has been well and truly liverpooled, he feels he is owed everything, so cocky the way he berates the 3rd official. Would you see EH do that? Not on ya nelly as he is a professional and that’s why he will be our new SBR. He has the great mans traits, and that is the best praise i could possibly give someone. Absolute gentleman and we are so blessed to have such a man looking after our team affairs rather than a Klopp or a Conte or any of the others self righteous prat managers. Not many gents in football management at the top, Pep aye as he Learnt from the best SBR 😉
