NUFC Coach Confirms Promotion To Head Of Goalkeeping

Adam Bartlett has confirmed his promotion to replace Simon Smith as Newcastle’s new head of goalkeeping. The Shields Gazette has published the following message Bartlett relayed on LinkedIn:

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Goalkeeping at Newcastle United Football Club!”

Bartlett was promoted from the U23s to the first team in March. He had been in the Newcastle coaching ranks since June of 2020. The former Hartlepool and Gateshead goalkeeper started with the Newcastle Academy as a youngster.

Adam Bartlett– two to the left of Eddie Howe

Newcastle’s previous head of goalkeeping Simon Smith left the club in July bringing to an end his second spell with the club. He was brought back to St. James’ Park by Steve McClaren in 2015 after initially leaving in 2004.

There has been no official announcement from Newcastle United on Bartlett’s promotion. The 36-year-old has been acting in the role and has now received another prominent promotion.

Loch i`m assuming the two stadiums in Ireland for the 2028 Euros will be the Aviva Stadium which holds 52, 000 and Croke Park 82, 000 although there a lot of other big GAA stadiums in the south of Ireland, in the North of Ireland Windsor Park is the biggest stadium but it only holds 18, 500 which would probably be a bit on the small side to be used in the Euros mate.

Fenham spare me the lecture me on tone. You were the one who started slagging me off. Don’t get all snippy if I respond in an annoyed manner.

And don’t make that I’m in some way happy with the VAR decisions. What I simply said was that any decisions are best looked if possible without black and white goggles (or red seeing as you think I support forest). In simple terms the best way to look at a decision is with cold logic, not from a fanatical fan, as we all are, point of view. And if you don’t want to discuss VAR with me, it’s OK. There’s always stuff to chat about. But if you are going to snipe, be man enough to take it too. And stop giving it the Forest nonsense. A mate is a Forest fan so I get his opinions every day. That’s why I hear so much. I’d like them to stay up though, more than teams like Bournemouth. Anyway, no point falling out about VAR. It will annoy us all season unless they get a grip.

Evening all, never had the chance to posts the last two days, decided to watch all of Mondays service, all 9 hours of it, what a spectacle, we certainly are the best at that.
Having just caught up it`s great to see posters getting along, not many arguments at the minute, though that could change in a heartbeat.
Var getting done to death atm, and a few having a go at Isak, after 3 games, being thrown into the deep end in the best lge on the planet, give the lad a chance eh.

Ive got bloody Shingles and it`s very annoying

    It isn’t hustling

It just takes him a few games to get the elbow to stop squeaking

As nijmegen-toon said Wilson has been sprinting plus they’re sorting out a behind closed doors game. Maybe play Wilson for 30-40mins in that game.

However #39 you may be right and totally understand if Eddie did just that by bringing Wilson on with 20mins or so left in to replace either Isak, or Almiron and move Isak to the Right.

Will be interesting to see how Eddie plays it. In Eddie we trust mate.

    Munster Mag,

    #42,

As of now I will not converse with you and potentially be your new sparring partner. I’ll swerve your posts going forward for the good of the blog. Cast your line elsewhere 🙂
