Despite returning from international duty early, Bruno Guimaraes could feature in this weekend’s match at Fulham. However, Alexander Isak will miss a few weeks with his undisclosed injury.
This is the update from The Telegraph’s Luke Edwards, who also reports that Chris Wood will likely not be available on Saturday. Though, Callum Wilson should make his return but will be the only available striker.
Confidence Bruno will play against Fulham, but record signing Alexander Isak is out for a few weeks, ASM is touch and go but is also unlikely to make London trip Chris Wood has a rib injury and is struggling too. Wilson will return but needs to be wrapped in cotton wool #NUFC

Allan Saint-Maximin is not expected to feature at Craven Cottage though he has not been ruled out. The Frenchman has made progress after suffering a setback with his hamstring injury a few weeks ago.
The situation is far from ideal even if Guimaraes and Wilson are able to play. They likely won’t be risked for the full 90 minutes. It could get very interesting with Isak and Wood unavailable.
Eddie Howe just can’t catch a break as one striker returns only for two others to get injured. He’ll have to wait at least a few more weeks before he can deploy Wilson, Isak, and Saint-Maximin in the same team.

I’m not sure you think we’ll just have to accept a top half finish a good season because of injuries. A top eight finish would be a great season, anything higher than that, exceptional. The blog has had this discussion before, there is a certain set of fans who have set the bar way too high based on last seasons form. It was never sustainable. The ones disappointed with just a top half finish are those that just took it for granted we should be aiming for top six.
