Despite the uncertainty surrounding injuries after the international break, Eddie Howe will likely name a similar team to the one that drew 1-1 against Bournemouth two weeks ago.
This is the team I suspect Howe will field at Fulham tomorrow afternoon. It has just one change with Callum Wilson making his triumphant return and replacing the injured Alexander Isak.
Wilson’s return is timely with the recent injuries to Isak and Chris Wood. Both were injured on international duty with Isak ruled out and Wood facing a late fitness test. Wilson should start but may not last the full 90 minutes.
Bruno Guimaraes’s injury scare has not affected his availability. Howe confirmed during this morning’s press conference the midfielder would make the trip. That means he’ll most likely resume his place in the starting eleven.
Allan Saint-Maximin is pushing to make his return. Howe stated he was close this morning. Even if he makes the squad, he will probably only be used as an impact substitution. Hopefully, Ryan Fraser’s positive performances for Scotland continue tomorrow.
Elliot Anderson is close to forcing his way into Howe’s thinking. He missed the Bournemouth match with a slight injury but is available tomorrow. I suspect it’ll be another second-half cameo for the young Geordie.
There’s no indication Howe has changed his mind on Dan Burn over Sven Botman. The schedule is compact between tomorrow and the World Cup break with plenty of opportunities for Sven to get onto the pitch.

Comment #87I love watching snooker but prefer playing American pool, I am about 2/3rds of the height of TDS so I need a rest for too many shots in snooker, I am decent with a rest but I find it tedious.
Although my club does have a 3/4 size snooker table, I should spend some time on that.

Comment #93Half pints are a false economy, my Mrs like half’s pints as it looks more feminine but it costs more and I have to go to the bar twice as often for her.
I quickly learnt to buy her a half on first round then buy pints and just top her glass up!

Comment #97Oh dear me I see we have had 2 posters (Lesh and poor ZG) mentioning my name today and tbh really seem gutted to see me posting on here again.
Lesh,
Your post #21 Video Eddie How’s press conference, you really seem on a downer, what’s wrong? Why are you so serious, howay man it’s a football blog lighting up, life’s to short 🙂
ZG,
You mentioned or referred to me on an earlier thread a few times today going on about alts and agressive people chasing those poor lads from the blog blah blah blah…You also mentioned what you would maybe call yourself if you were to be an alt, can I please assist you with some names that would could do the trick (just in case):
– Adamn_80
– The Beast from the East
– the Instigator
– the provoker
– Chief troublemaker
– tealeaf or not to leave
– Lesh’s red…barmy commie army
Howay lads let it go. I’m not on here to have aggro, so what’s with your really heartfelt posts today? Try not be so offended gents because I am posting on here and not arguing. As I’ve mentioned previously ITS A FOOTBALL BLOG!!!!!
Thanks 🙂

Taylormade M2 HL is my driver.
The last squash racquet I owned was a purple carbon fibre job whose name I can’t remember.
My now demised cricket bat was a SS.
They all have one thing in common – the idiot on the end.
😉
Looking forward to choosing my carpet bowls set.

Comment #104I agree it is the player not the equipment, but I would say my game improved a few % points once I bought my own pool cue compared to selecting a random house cue.
It was just the consistent feel it had and I didn’t have to minutely scrutinise the tips or roll cues across the table to see how warped they were before selecting one, that made a difference I think. I know my cue and psychologically that helps me.

Comment #113It is a lot Pug, I paid £80 notes for my cue almost exactly a year ago (Aug 21) and considered it an investment in a game I love. I was more right than I knew at the time, the exact same one I bought is now £125 if I ordered a replacement tomorrow.
Not even kidding.
Now I need to check the price of the expensive Scandinavian chalk I ordered with it. I might need to remortgage.

Taylor Koa ce (cutaway electric)
Smart as owt – the Koa wood is only available in Hawaii and it produces a lovely sound – a bit like……..
But better…. than the crisp smack of a golf ball when it leaves the 18th tee….. 🙂

Comment #115Magic – I will watch that but I know the answer. To be fair many snooker players (on videos we have shared) did ok using a snooker cue on an American table, but the reverse won’t work.
Try a cue designed for American pool (straight, 9 ball, 10 ball etc) on an English table (pool or snooker) and you are in for a shock.
This does make me want a cue suited to the English game though, and Wor B whetted my appetite with the beautiful cues he shared.

I wouldn’t give my Taylor Koa to anyone but if someone offered me £2.5k I’d consider selling it. £2.5k would go a long way towards a camper van. 🙂

Comment #120Witnessed something today whilst on-site in Witham, Essex. It must have been bin day, therefore all the wheelie bins were out, so there must have been 2 neighbours having a chuckle as there was writing on both their wheelie bins which tickled me:

Cor

– The other: BIN
