NUFC Chairman Sends Open Letter To Supporters

Ahead of tomorrow’s one-year anniversary of the takeover, Newcastle’s chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan has written an open letter to the club’s supporters.

This is an inspiring letter from the chairman which opens with an expression of gratitude to the supporters. He then marks the first anniversary before revealing his emotions at the welcome he and his fellow owners received for their first match, which was at St. James’ Park against Spurs.

The letter then delves into the ambitious plans for the future while exuding the patience and pragmatism we’ve witnessed from the new owners. He also references the importance of adding the right people both on the pitch and behind the scenes. These owners just continue to show that they understand this club.

    Peter,

That’s not a fair playing field as I’m highly allergic to dogs.

A curse on my life, as I’m a big dog lover so be easy. Please provide advance warning so I can take my antihistamine tablets first before you get your belly rub 😉

Glad to hear the women are playing at St James`s next month, ile be at that one anarl hopefully.
The 22k announced for their previous game at the Cathedral on the hill was well below the actual final attendance saying as there were haordes of people still queueing outside the ground at KO.
Id say there were at least 25k that day for a 4th tier game, so with that in mind i think the current record of 47k for a womans lge game in this country will be severely under threat.

Here is a random question. When have you randomly bumped into a Toon player (so not at a match, talk-in etc)?

I bumbed into Peter Lovenkrands at a soft play in Heaton on a Mother’s day once. I was there with my Wife and kids and he turned up with his Mother, Wife and Daughter. I noticed his Wife and might have been staring a bit and my Wife came back to our table and said “what are you looking at?” Luckily I could reply “look that’s Peter Lovenkrands over there!” We all got chatting a bit after that, really nice family.

I also bumped into Colocini at Jesmond Dene House when having a lunch with my Mrs once. He was with some bloke at the table next to us and I was convinced the guy was his agent (this was when there was a lot of transfer speculation about him leaving)
So I started listening to everthing they were saying, thinking I would get some inside scoop.
It was no use at all cos I can’t speak Spanish.

    The Taco Taker,
SSN is the worst, they give every ex footballer you’ve never heard of a shot at doing the commentary on a mid week league one game, this poor fooker the other night was wooden, almost felt sorry for him 😕
