Newcastle Fan Neil Calls Into talkSPORT – Blows Them Away With His Enthusiasm And Passion For Owners And Magician Eddie Howe

Here is a terrific video just released by talkSPORT including Jim White and Simon Jordan as they talk about how well Newcastle have done since the new owners came in and especially this season.

We are 3rd in the league and have conceded a scant 11 goals in 20 PL games, and we have one foot into the Carabao Cup final at Wembley after winning our first leg 1-0 at the Saints last night.

A single Newcastle fan – Neil – calls in.

And he completely wows them all, with his great enthusiasm and passion for the club and particularly for our world-class owners and for the outstanding Newcastle coach Eddie Howe, whom he calls a magician.

You can watch the hosts when Neil is talking as they smile about what he says as they get just how passionate and loyal Newcastle fans are.

Well done Neil!

The club are gradually building up the squad with real quality and i think Gordon will add to that strength immensely.
I doubt very much if he does sign that he will be demanding a place in the starting 11, like Isak, i think he will told he has to earn his place and become part of a rotational squad, and will still get plenty of game time.
Every man and his dog are talking about that club from the north east atm, and i think Gordon will love to be part of it .
I hope this deal comes off because this lad is made for Eddie Howe`s tactics.

Ortega Moreno, Walker, Dias, Phillips, Cancelo, Laporte, De Bruyne, Silva, Foden that was Man Citys bench for the Tottenham game.

That’s where we need to get to in all honesty. it will take time and the balancing act can be done.

Let’s hope if irons are truly in the fires we get this done by Jan 30th.

Eddie and the team doesn’t need any distractions when we play the saints on 31st.

Funny I’ve read some reports and they say things like Newcastle beat 10 man Southampton, lol. We were one nil up before the sending off and that was in the 86th minute. Laughable some reports, although, yes true, but don’t try and make it out we beat them because they only played with ten men.

Apparently, having missed out on Danjuma, Everton want Zyech from Chelsea but need to find £25M to fund it.

Talks ongoing between NUFC and Everton to sort out deal for Gordon. As time is running out, expect movement in next 3 days.

Plenty players have a good season then never replicate it again as the teams in the division ha e worked you out. This could easily be Gordon.

    Odd to say he’s great?

Based on his form he’s not.

If you can’t consistently produce your not very good. Nothing he has done shows he’s good. Everton want £40m not even worth half that.

They need £40m. Player wants out. Its be daft to offer anything like that.

Even though I don’t rate him we hold the best bargaining position especially if he want to come here.

We shouldn’t pay a high fee. He doesn’t warrant it. (that much press means we are sadly interested)

Rumours of Maxi to AC Milan surfacing online. Loan with option to buy, but somehow I don’t think we are looking to sell.

At some point down the line we aim to be competing in multiple competitions and will have players on National Team duties. There are injuries and illness to be considered (Callum is recovering from illness , not injured) .
As you need 2 keepers per game that’s 12 needed to start. 5 subs takes the tally to 17. Maybe 3 more quality players takes the count to 20
We are quietly upgrading the squad with departures such as Wood, Fraser, Ritchie while bringing in probably the likes of Gordon and a few others.
My guess is we are planning a squad of 20 class players with 5 other younger developing players in support.
Maxi ain’t going nowhere, that’s hacks and other fans trying to disrupt our cohenesion.
    No negative waves man

Everton threw that game. Very dodgy.

    I recall that game, mate.

It is exactly why I want to see Everton be relegated, let them experience what we went through.

Not usually my character, usually ‘In with anger, out with love’…

But I recall that game !

I get the feeling that EH is a bit miffed that Woods was sold before a replacement was found.
Really hope this isn’t the end of the honeymoon between him and our owners.

Gordon will be an unreal signing for us.
Can folk not see he has the lot.

He can pick a pass an all so could play in a midfield three when we need more intent and goals. He could be the next big thing as a midfielder.

He is our new Rob Lee. Mark my words. Get excited about the kid. Grafts, very talented and bags goals. Plus he has proven, granted in a brief period he’s technical enuf to make a mark in the prem. Even in a god awful side.

Currently Gordon is sat on Evertons bench so he’s more than happy to swap it for ours.

Puts pressure on Miggy, i see him and Miggy sharing the right hand side.
Eddie needs Joe and Joe down the left to protect Burn, as he is no left back.

Cyprus – He’s brilliant defending our box, but our midfield is giving him some protection like.

Wouldnt swap Burn’s protection for any others in the league.

Burn on the ball… Really.. nobody is bothered if he gives the ball away as we dont concede.

Botman and the midfield down his side of the pitch are out of this world. Plus Bruno. Utterly brilliant pro’s.

Now Magic, watched that Roy Keane interview.

I do like to listen to Keane, but he is a narrow minded individual. Couldn’t change his view on management even if its ended with the sack.

Very similar to Sourness. Both Struggle with empathy for others personality’s and how to get the best from people. Their way or the highway. Good craic tho.

Hes got the tools to be a worldie it’s whether we can coach him

    Check
I don’t think anyone is protecting anyone in the second best (behind Barca) defence in Europe. It has to be the envy of all and Burn is part of that.

I keep waiting for a tricky little winger to “burn” him but it hasn’t happened yet.

His skillset, not only for such a big lad, is pretty darn good.

So, the most expensive lb (Cucurella) for Burn? Hell no.

    He’s been a revelation.

Saka was burning him in first ten minutes against Arsenal, the point is Eddie got folk to help him out that then impacted on our press and whole gameplan.

Fortunately we dont play Arsenal every week and Burn doesnt have to cope with Saka.

I do agree tho, not many around who would be as solid and committed to the cause thats for sure
