Eddie Howe will be forced into at least one change for Sunday’s clash against Wolves at St. James’ Park with the integral Joelinton facing a two-match ban. There could be other changes on the horizon after Howe made three in last weekend’s defeat at Manchester City.
Fabian Schar is back in contention after being sidelined through the concussion protocol. He faces a fight to return with captain Jamaal Lascelles’s solid showing against the defending champions.
I suspect Schar will keep his place though would not be completely surprised to see Jamaal take the armband tomorrow. However, I do see one other potential change at the back with Matt Targett making his return for Dan Burn at left-back.
All that being said, this is the team I suspect Howe will name. It has three changes from the Citizens with Schar returning, Joe Willock in for Joelinton, and Targett getting a chance on the left.
During his press conference on Friday, Howe stated Alexander Isak was not ready for a full 90 minutes. While that doesn’t rule out a start, he may continue as an impact sub until he is fully fit.
That may also be the role for Allan Saint-Maximin despite impressing in a run of starts. Anthony Gordon made his full debut last weekend and now he may get his first start in front of the home faithful.
There are plenty of options with only Emil Krafth and Harrison Ashby out injured that we know of. Howe can chop and change to try and get the performance needed to spur the Magpies back to victory.

Comment #163Mund…. It’s the same over here now.
The families that do arrive are welcomed by the communities and want to work to contribute.
It’s the bus loads of men arriving nit a woman or child in sight is the problem.
We are fighting back now thank God.
Pressure is being put on our corrupt Government.
There are marches happening all over the country.

@153
How disappointing to see you’ve joined the package referring to Linaker as ‘big ears’ and other such names.
Being involved in teaching youngsters, I’d have thought you might have thought about using such language on social media.
Just imagine the possible consequences of someone who knows where you work coming across such language and reporting it to your employer? The departure lounge could loom large.
It’s up to you

The left says “asylum seekers, escaping war zones”
The right says ‘illegal immigrants paying smugglers thousands and arriving undocumented”.
The reality is we have both extremes. Asylum seekers are welcome, illegal immigrants aren’t.
There should be consensus between all politicians on how to deal with both correctly. There isn’t because of flag waving idiots on both sides shouting at each other across the political divide. Social media has meant we’ve followed the US model of only 2 electable parties, both extreme in view and effectively (at least publicly) hating each other. Common sense and intelligence have been chucked out with the bath water. It shames us all.

Comment #182While I’m on my soapbox, the fundamental question regarding our inability to provide adequate services for our existing population is totally overlooked in the row over immigration.
This suits the politicians of all parties who have for decades fundamentally allowed the infrastructure of our key services to rot and decay.
It’s a national disgrace and it started when “professional” politicians took over Parliament. It no longer serves the people who pay for it, just the self serving minority of 650 x reprobates who get put up for us to elect and who then laugh all the way to the bank while they pick our pockets. Democracy is dead until we, the people, overthrow this two party system and elect people who want to serve.
I’ll stop now or I’ll be writing my manifesto… 😆

Comment #196Eddie has a back of coming back from a bad run with a string of great results. I have family in Bournemouth who are massive Bournemouth supporters and also Eddie supporters. Eddie has always done this throughout his tenure at Bournemouth. In his promotion seasons they would have 1 bad patch of results then bang, it’s all forgotten and the winning run takes place again.
I believe we will get a great response from the team tomorrow. I have 2:0 in my head but I do hope for a hatful of goals to really get the juices flowing

Comment #199One problem we have is there are 1000s of rubbish jobs here we can no longer find people to take. This is one of the bigger reasons for the increase in illegals. People will flock to where there are jobs – Land of Opportunity etc. Before the Poles etc took these jobs, now we created a vacum so thousands are sailing.
