Howe Makes Three Changes In Our Predicted Team For Wolves

Eddie Howe will be forced into at least one change for Sunday’s clash against Wolves at St. James’ Park with the integral Joelinton facing a two-match ban. There could be other changes on the horizon after Howe made three in last weekend’s defeat at Manchester City.

Fabian Schar is back in contention after being sidelined through the concussion protocol. He faces a fight to return with captain Jamaal Lascelles’s solid showing against the defending champions.

I suspect Schar will keep his place though would not be completely surprised to see Jamaal take the armband tomorrow. However, I do see one other potential change at the back with Matt Targett making his return for Dan Burn at left-back.

All that being said, this is the team I suspect Howe will name. It has three changes from the Citizens with Schar returning, Joe Willock in for Joelinton, and Targett getting a chance on the left.

During his press conference on Friday, Howe stated Alexander Isak was not ready for a full 90 minutes. While that doesn’t rule out a start, he may continue as an impact sub until he is fully fit.

That may also be the role for Allan Saint-Maximin despite impressing in a run of starts. Anthony Gordon made his full debut last weekend and now he may get his first start in front of the home faithful.

There are plenty of options with only Emil Krafth and Harrison Ashby out injured that we know of. Howe can chop and change to try and get the performance needed to spur the Magpies back to victory.

Just so you know. Lineker actually put refugees up in his own mansion. I bet there’s not many on this blog that have done that. And he didn’t do it for publicity. He isn’t right on everything he says, but then who is, but he tries to do what he feels is right. The tories have been playing the immigration card for years and it suits their narrative, and definitely won the brexit vote for them. But nothing has changed has it. Apart from the country being worse off.

And for the avoidance of doubt, I agree with Linekers comments but also agree that we need to stop the boats. There has to be a better way. And as CBob says, we need all parties to work on this. Party politics just gets in the way of doing what is sensible.

ZG, that’s part of the problem I alluded to. There are over 70,000 ā€œundocumentedā€ arrivals that are staying in hotels at the tax payers expense because we don’t have adequate housing stock, schools, hospitals/doctors, transport links etc to accommodate them. We can’t cope with our current population, let alone a further 70,000.

Those 70k are costing the taxpayers just under £7M per day to house/feed etc. Multiply that by 365 and see how much of our money is being p****ed away, while they argue about the semantics. Appalling!!

I might not like Linekar but I certainly dislike the government even more mate.

It’s incredible the damage they have done and keep on doing and we can’t do a thing about it.

Over turn them or give the north a voice. Split the leadership as I can tell you for a fact that the people of the north could run this country in a far better way as we are for the people not against

I see no reason why a more advanced technological civilization could be present in our vicinity.

The Universe is around 14 billion years old, our solar system is around 4.5 billion years old.

Other systems could be much older will older civilizations.

If one had built colony ships a million years ago they could have covered huge distances at sub light speeds and arrived here.

Apparently we are being offered a ā€œdevolvedā€ North East government, at least partially.

My understanding is that Northumberland, North and South Tyneside have been approached by the government to scrap their existing separate authorities to get our own mini NE Parliament that will have a bigger say and a bigger budget to control a number of things that are currently done at National level. This is at the public consultation phase. Have a look if you’re interested.

I’m reasonably happy with the idea so long as we don’t get run by Jimmy Crankie or another Dan Smith. šŸ˜†
