Comment #2I see Man Utd have been charged by the FA, again, for failing to control their players.
When will a significant sanction be enforced on the club and players?

Comment #4I think that ManU should get a massive points deduction and that we should get a big points addition cos we don’t harass the ref.

Comment #7I like that idea EGB. I would happily settle for Man Utd getting deducted points though.

Comment #8Novo, as long as the sanction is a fine it will continue to happen. Change the punishment to points deduction increasing incrementally for subsequent infractions. That would stop it dead in its tracks.
Ruddy, maybe Professor Honeydew for Sir Pug, Baseman for Clint Flick. I’ll take Fozzie Bear, I’ve got the figure for it and I tell terrible jokes. 😆 All in jest my friends.

Comment #9EGB, I’ll be having one eye on it, the other on Eagles away to London Lions. Game is on Channel Four by way of a change.
I see there’s more corruption charges for Barca. Uefa to investigate Barcelona over payments to former referees’ official – https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65051591

If you mean Floyd Pepper for Clint Flick then I completely agree haha you can absolutely be Fozzie Bear, wocka wocka!
Professor Honeydew for Sir Pug though? Given he’s a brainy sort that isn’t a bad idea!

Comment #11I’ll probably watch the game tonight. I don’t care who wins. I reckon Southgate could walk if we don’t win either of these two games, which is a strong possibility.
I don’t see England failing to qualify but North Macedonia have shown they are capable of a shock or two.
England should be capable of finishing in the top two but if they have to go in to the play offs, Southgate should go.

Comment #18One thing that really strikes me about Isak when he speaks is that he is not lacking in confidence. Comes across as if he really believes in himself and expects to be doing the business on the field. That’s very good.

Comment #19Got my Spurs tickets today and I think it really does pay to get logged in on as many browsers as you can, I had 17K and 10K on the works computer and 1700 on my phone, had the pick of the bunch with that number and got in my favourite spot in the Strawberry corner. Did anyone see how sitc got on with his 7K number.

Aye, he is very very confident without sounding cocky either, he just seemed genuinely baffled when that presenter was suggesting it wasn’t meant to be a finish ”yes, of course I meant it, it was a lovely finish” no arrogance there just telling the truth of how he saw it(seen it) up your Tough 😀

Comment #26Reminder that England v Italy is live on Channel 4 toight in the UK.
Starts at 7.00pm.
I presume Rice will be playing. God opportunity to check him out. Not convinced about him. He can be decent with those sudden surges going forward -leaves folk in his wake.
If we get beat hopefully it may signal the end of wokester Southgate.

Comment #33Thin edge of the wedge (so to speak) ?
Let’s hope that there’s no fall out for certain other clubs, VAR or officials.
Uefa is to investigate payments made by Barcelona to a former vice-president of Spain’s referees’ committee.
Uefa has appointed ethics and disciplinary inspectors to look into payments allegedly made for favourable refereeing decisions.
A court heard Barcelona have been indicted for “corruption”, “breach of trust” and “false business records”.
Prosecutors allege Barca paid 8.4m euros (£7.4m) to Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira and his Dasnil 95 company.
Barcelona, who deny any wrongdoing, acknowledged the payments were made to Dasnil 95 between 2001 and 2018.

I thought that with the Mitro incident that the FA might have quietly forgotten about ManU, so credit that they didn’t.
This is at least the 3rd time this season that they’ve been fined and warned about future behaviour – which they have now breached again. Three strikes and you’re out springs to mind. As they are being sold for £5 billion a fine is of no consequence. Points deduction is the only way to deal with this.
Wonder how they will cope when we get in their faces at SJP ?
