Newcastle have confirmed the details of their upcoming four-part documentary series. It will air late this summer on Prime Video in the UK, Ireland, and Nordic countries.
? #NUFC will be the focus of a new documentary series that will air in late summer 2023 – exclusively on Prime Video in the UK, Ireland and Nordic region.
????
— Newcastle United FC (@NUFC) March 24, 2023
The series is being dually produced by London Entertainment and 72 Films. It will focus on the 2022/23 campaign with insight into both the owners’ running of the club as well as the playing side. It will also touch on the club’s history.
Newcastle CEO Dareen Eales said the following about the series:
“We are excited to be offering global football fans a front row seat at this exciting time in Newcastle United’s history.
“The documentary will give football and non-football fans across the globe a unique and authentic insight into how a major Premier League club operates and will take fans on the journey with us as we strive to achieve our goals on and off the pitch.”
This should be an exciting watch for fans as details of Eddie Howe’s first full season on Tyneside are revealed. The series will air as Newcastle prepare to kick-off the 2023/24 season. Hopefully, a season that includes a return to European competition.

Comment #2Ruddy I concur wholeheartedly with your English football mickeytaking and in general for majority sports like rugby too. Probably every Irish adults will have a giggle when England lose after the whole “England expects” mullarkey prior to every tournament. Its just our nature. I asked the kids I coach and none of them were cheering England last time out. Brazil were the big draw, which is interesting as none of them would know much about Brazils pedigree etc as they haven’t done a lot in world cups and the kids are only aged 12 so they aren’t exactly as fait with their glorious history.

Comment #8Probably as good a time as ever to get the documentary done. I think it was probably less of a distraction this year when there were really no exceedingly high expectations. We have gotten the run of form we have and probably make for a an even better story at this stage. With it scheduled to run this summer it will be a perfect time to expand the fan base and build more visibility and excitement, which will in turn hopefully generate more revenue and give perspective incoming transfers even more to think about.

I had my reservations about any documentary when it was first muted as they often do as much harm as good and £10M is not a huge sum of money in the grand scheme of things (although every little helps)
Given it is only a four part documentary in what is now bound to be a decent season I feel it will be good for the club though.
Not sure it will help with our visibility for the summer window though as it is scheduled to come out in August and only in the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries initially. I hope it is really popular and is shown more globally.

Comment #10Good evening fellow bloggers, Sweden take on Belgium tonight and Isak is leading the line for the Swede`s, so, does anyone know on which channel i can watch the game if possible ?
Well done to England last night beating the AyeTyes in their own back yard for the first time in over 60 yrs, however, I think Southgate`s constant picking of his favourites leave a sour note for me.
Any young players excelling themselves for their team week in week out, especially in the top lges in Europe have a chance of at least getting considered by their national coaches, not in this country under Southgate i`m afraid.
GS picking of players for England are as about as exciting as his personality, boring and no sense of adventure. Straight down the middle is wor Gareth,

Comment #11For golf fans, the Netflix documentary series “full swing” is highly recommended. Front row seat, as it says here, of these golf super stars. They’re just humans, imagine that!
Now, for football fans, front row nufc.
Let me guess how it ends, Netflix. Relegation fodder qualifies in the CL.
And in season 2, wins the thing!
Good TV, that.
And a true story to boot!

The Netflix one was more, “will waltz back into the PL” but end up league 1
😀
I will be glued to our documentary on Amazon (which of course has many more subscribers than netflix) but I doubt it will be as entertaining as Sunderland ’till I die. I still rate that as one of my top 10 comedy shows of all time.

“I’ve got a whole load of hens in the yard. English and French hens but the boss is a French Moran hen. He is the archetypal French rooster and stands no messing about – he is the boss.”
Well done sir, very broad-minded of you, has the French Moran fully transitioned or is there still surgery pending?

And thanks for subtly correcting me. The nufc one is Amazon, yes.
Still, if I may, I think Netflix is ahead of Amazon in subscribers.
Anyway, I’ll be glued to the box to see what happens. My guess: nufc wins the CL in season 2.
May be wrong, don’t tell me!

If you can find it, check out on YouTube the latest Rory drive, 375 yards, just a few feet from the pin. Everyone raving.

Luckily for you it is an urban myth that you not allowed under French law to name your pet pig Napoleon. The laws on naming your cock are less clear.

Catching up from the other day…..
I’ve noticed that Fenners has followed Mund’s lead
And keeps calling out Lesh for what he’s perceived
To be the harassment of a lady we know here as Jane
An assumption based solely on a blog username
That may be quite a foolhardy thing to do
Does he think Betty Swallocks is a lady too?
Or the Geordie Mongrel and Sir Pugalot
Like to feast on bowls of Winalot
Or that the Prince’s Mate is well connected
Or Hibbit’s miraculously resurrected
Or AP was once a real Jedi
Or Regan a flying squad DI
Or that Dr Gloom has a PhD
Which seems a little unlikely to me
Although I do believe for an absolute FACT
Magicmac is a Magic Mike tribute act
And, if I’m being absolutely frank
I don’t even hail from Bensham Bank
You see usernames just don’t mean a thing
And the ‘Bard of West Allotment’ didn’t have the same ring
I would take these moniker’s with a pinch of salt
Fenners should know, he’s had many an alt
I just hope we never have to use photo ID
I’ve already seen things that I’ll never unsee
