VIDEO – Full Eddie Howe Press Conference For Crucial Brighton Game At Home Tomorrow Night

Here is Eddie Howe’s press conference for our third last game of the season, at home to high-flying Brighton – a tremendously well run club on the south coast.

New Italian manager Roberto De Zerbi (former manager of Benvento, Sassuolo and Shakhtar Donetsk amongst others) joined the Seasiders in late September replacing Graham Potter, who joined Chelsea.

The 43 year-old has done an outstanding job and has Brighton in 6th place after they demolished Arsenal 3-0 away last weekend, in what was one of the best performances we have seen from Brighton

So we know this is a tough game, but we need 2 wins in our final 3 games to finish in the top four for the first time since Sir Bobby Robson was manager.

Hopefully this can be one of the wins, but our lads need to be near their very best to get all 3 points tomorrow night in front of another sold-out St. James’ Park crowd.

Here is how the league stands at the moment.

How Will Newcastle Fare Against Brighton At Home?

Personal Note:

I started my chemo treatment at the end of March and today is my 3rd chemo infusion as a final treatment for my stage 4 prostate cancer.

The plan is to have 10 treatments, one every 3 weeks through the end of October, and see if some of the prostate cancer cells in the bones can be killed off and the spread of the cancer slowed down.

We will see come October, but so far so good.

And I learned yesterday, via an endoscopy, that my esophagus that was badly damaged by my failed radium 223 treatment is healing nicely.

Many thanks for all your support on this through the years.

Ed Harrison.

I wouldn’t think it was anything too significant with regards to the blog. Surely if it was a shutdown protocol, the site wouldn’t be accessible. My guess, an issue or accident with that thread.

Anyway, it’s highly doubtful EH will pick a formation the players haven’t played much this season for last three games, he said that he will keep everything simple for the players especially in last few pressurised games so although he may make some changes, in my opinion he won’t change formation

Come on. No way have the Harrisons just suddenly shut down the blog with no warning. That’s a bonkers idea.

Someone just screwed up. I suspect the people who suggested that it was more than that were just joking.

Some technical issues last night into this morning. Ed plans on putting something out for the game if he is able to.

Think we will probably start with following team.

    Pope
    Trips Schar Botman Burn
    Bruno
    Big Joe. Little Joe
    Miggy. Isak. Gordon

Loads of Qualiteeee and options from bench.

Brighton are a decent well coached team, but they will struggle to cope with the crowd and the press.

We wallop em. Keep the faith.

Breaking News….. BBC announce they will be releasing Gary Lineker from MOTD and replacing him with a presenter they feel will appeal to the public more.

    Phillip Schofield starts on Monday.
