Here is Eddie Howe’s press conference for our third last game of the season, at home to high-flying Brighton – a tremendously well run club on the south coast.
New Italian manager Roberto De Zerbi (former manager of Benvento, Sassuolo and Shakhtar Donetsk amongst others) joined the Seasiders in late September replacing Graham Potter, who joined Chelsea.
The 43 year-old has done an outstanding job and has Brighton in 6th place after they demolished Arsenal 3-0 away last weekend, in what was one of the best performances we have seen from Brighton
So we know this is a tough game, but we need 2 wins in our final 3 games to finish in the top four for the first time since Sir Bobby Robson was manager.
Hopefully this can be one of the wins, but our lads need to be near their very best to get all 3 points tomorrow night in front of another sold-out St. James’ Park crowd.

I started my chemo treatment at the end of March and today is my 3rd chemo infusion as a final treatment for my stage 4 prostate cancer.
The plan is to have 10 treatments, one every 3 weeks through the end of October, and see if some of the prostate cancer cells in the bones can be killed off and the spread of the cancer slowed down.
We will see come October, but so far so good.
And I learned yesterday, via an endoscopy, that my esophagus that was badly damaged by my failed radium 223 treatment is healing nicely.

Comment #260Off topic but I think Murphy has been a big miss the last couple games. I love almiron but just keep him on his right foot and back off him when he passes back and makes a run and he’s neutralized.
The biggest thing is there’s no service from him into the box. Even when he beats a man and cuts back on to his left he never delivers a cross. If he did this he’d be so much more effective. Wouldn’t be hard for anyone to adjust. Just delay your run, but he doesn’t.
Murphy although is inconsistent with his quality is constantly delivering into the box.
Not saying miggy should start on the left and stay there but maybe have him switch wings mid play alot more. We like inverted wingers alot for some reason but switching up mid play and getting the wingers on to their good foot fora cross would be a good mix of play. Do it a bunch through out play and it really gives us a bit more unpredictability.

Unpredictability is great aside from the fact that it is by its very nature unpredictable.
