Newcastle can make a big leap forward towards Champions League qualification with a win tonight, but we will have to be at our best to beat a Brighton side that took apart Arsenal away 3-0 last weekend and were much the better side.
We have to get two wins in our final 3 games to ensure Champions League football for next season.
The remaining games after tonight’s match are against struggling Leicester City at home next Monday night and then Chelsea away on the final day of the season – a week on Sunday, May 28th.
So even without the win tonight, we can still win our final two games – let’s stay positive.
Only slightly more than 60% of fans think we will win this game tonight, which is a little bit of a surprise.

That’s what I meant by certain players winning more penalties. Wilson could have turned that into a penalty.
I’d actually prefer to see players try to hurdle the defender’s leg and keep the ball in play mind you. Great if they do or a penalty if the defender’s leg causes the attacker to fall.
