    Tuff,

You put a full stop at the end of Pope’s question instead of a question mark. You must be so embarrassed. You aren’t having a good time of it today, are you? Your grammar has gone downhill and now your punctuation is going with it.

Sorry I can’t help it, it’s a joy seeing someone giving it the biggen, only to keep falling flat on their face themselves. Sweet sweet karma šŸ˜€

    Adam,

Brace yourself, you’re about to be told it’s “big one” and not “biggen”

Now after putting Brighton to the sword and literally dismantling them piece by piece last night. I really do hope that they win their game in hand and cement a place in the top 6. It will be extra special to see Spurs (that club that really voiced the loudest against our TO) miss out on a top 6 finish. I really like Brighton as a club and how they are run. I have a respect for them. So I’ll be rooting for them in their remaining fixtures. Good luck to them!!

I wonder what odds they would have been to bet that NUFC and Brighton would both finish in the top 6 this season at Chelsea’s and Spurs expense? Cracking season and it’s why football and specifically NUFC are my second love after my lovely family.

Another record has been broken: even if we lose our next two games resulting in seven defeats this season, that’s still our lowest in the top flight in our 131 year history!

    Taco,

Cheers for that stat. That’s a great record to achieve. Tbh mate I cannot see it being anything other than only 5 defeats all season after our 2 remaining games. I can seriously see us picking up another 6 points against a Leicester side that have absolutely no fight in them, they are full of players that know they are away in the summer and simply don’t have the necessary fight in them to come to SJP and put up a fight against a team of, well fighters and warriors.

Also…Chelsea’s players will just want this season over with, they have absolutely nothing whatsoever to fight for, with a terrible manager in Frank Lampard trying to get a tune out of them is never gonna happen. We will be playing both games without any fear but with so much belief that they will want to finish in 3rd above either lfc or man u, aye so it will have to be only 5 defeats all season for me and how amazing is that, a record in our amazing 131 years history šŸ˜Ž

Yeah Fenham, there is a good chance we will win both remaining games. Injuries are the only issue but we should still have to much for Leicester and I expect Chelsea’s morale to be pretty low going into our game cos the will have been thrashed by Citeh and probably beaten by Man U too ahead of playing us.

Speaking of from Leicester and Chelsea form is very bad. The weakest 2 in the league since February.

I have to say, some of you are truly sad. Not happy unless you’re doing your best to cause conflicts on a blog. Spending the entire day trying to rile people up.

I fail to see how saying ā€œI get worried when Burn joins in the attackā€ is a ā€œnegativeā€ post. Did you watch the game? There were a few moments in the first half where Burn was well upfield and drifted inside. Stating a concern isn’t negative. It’s watching the game and commenting. The fact that he scored from a set piece doesn’t change anything.

Also, our first group of set pieces during the game were not good. Straight to the keeper in one instance, etc. You’re not allowed to say that?

Not to mention, I said right after we went up 4-1 that I was happy to be wrong on Wilson. That we were waiting for one moment of magic and I didn’t think it would happen, but I was wrong.

The ego on some of you. Calling people c-nts because they are commenting on a game happening in real time. There are ebbs and flows. Plenty of positive comments, too. But you guys who believe you control the blog always have to make it about yourselves. ā€œI can’t enjoy the game because someone was disappointed with a few set pieces.ā€ It’ll just be easier to ignore a few of you. You add nothing anyway. My blog experience is really damaged hearing about someone’s Liverpool-supporting brother. As if anyone gives a sht. Or someone claiming every VAR decision of the season was perfectly accurate. Disagreeing just to disagree. It makes them feel important to get a few people engaged and responding.

If you want to have your panties in a twist over people saying ā€œwe suckā€ or predicting a loss every week, go for it. Getting high & mighty over people commenting on the game flow itself is just sad. But realistically, it isn’t honest. It’s just a way to make yourself the center of attention. Feign outrage and show everyone that you’re the most important person.
