    Dr. Ed
Great to see you in action
    Just a fantastic night
Dare say many pundits thought we would succumb to Brighton.
    Nah

There was four lassies from Brighton heading into the match in cheerie mood tonight.
Great to see fans like them supporting their team who have been a revelation this season.
Hope they have a safe journey home if not tonight, tomorrow.

    Supa supa win 😎

Nervy game as Brighton were a threat. But we had a ton of half chances.

Miggy is my MOTM. Great all round game.

On another note the Toon have exceeded my preseason prediction of 67 pts. So pleased.

    Onwards and upwards.

Cheers Ed, The blogs a great place to be. Work(s) are very appreciated.

Is he past his sell by date !
    Think we have other plans.

Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane who is being linked with a return to the Premier League, with both Manchester United and Newcastle United reportedly interested
Manchester United and Newcastle United have emerged as the likeliest clubs to sign Bayern Munich and Senegal forward Sadio Mane, 31, following a disappointing debut season in Germany. (Mail)

Well, I’d say that the Toon success gives Ed another reason to fight as hard as he can. We’re all gonna die one day but I’m sure as hell that he’ll want to stick around long enough to see us play in the CL a bit and lift a trophy!

Another reason for being thankful to the PIF and Eddie Howe. 🙂

    Still absolutely buzzing after that!

What a performance. I was one of the people saying to swap Wilson for Maxi or Gordon as he had been anonymous all night and then he goes on and scores a great goal and supllies another after a brilliant run. What a season he is having and what a season we’re having! Loving every minute.

Villa please do us a favour now and stuff Klopp and those dirty cheating scousers so we can enjoy the final two games knowing nothing can stop us from having CL nights again at St James’.

Miggy must have been on steroids for the game, easily MOM, the assist for the Wilson goal was sublime.

Had to laugh when he and Encisio changed shirts at the end though after they made up.

You’re joking tds. I’d have Mane here in a shot.

As for berating people, you keep talking about pub experiences. If you go to a pub you’ll find optimists, pessimists, moaners, whingers, drunks, happy guys etc.

I don’t see what your problem is with the blog for 90 mins. If you don’t like it, go watch the game in the pub and don’t log in here.

The place is hardly perfect, and Rob wud have us relegated, but it’s not all neggars and he’s as entitled to his opinion as anyone else.

Except the seagull molesters obviously 🙂

Munster – Mane was a quality player but his best days are behind him. I’m not sure what sort of personality he is but I’d rather we don’t sign older players looking for a payday. If he’s a leader and a good influence on the younger players (like Trips) then I’d have him. But we’ve just signed Gordon so I think Howe will want to give him a full pre-season and we can watch him hit the ground running.

Regarding watching the game in a pub, I can’t do that with fellow Toon fans. I can guarantee that if I still lived in Newcastle, I wouldn’t be on this blog during a match but I don’t do this is really the only option that I have for interacting with fellow fans.

No, not all neggars for sure but the vibe on the blog was grim during the match and after it, Rob was quick to moan about Willock being injured and how he was a big loss. Yes, if someone said that in the pub after a big win I guarantee everyone would tell him to F off.

It’s genuinely incredible how he even tries to make a perfectly normal comment that Willock will be a big loss as some incredibly negative and awful comment.

Think about that everyone, think about how utterly desperate you need to be to try make a Comment like that seem somehow negative.

Hopefully most people can see how see-through he is with his adgendas against people he just doesn’t like, Hopefully people can see who the real piece I’d shit is……
