The following policies should be taken into consideration before commenting:
I had a PET (PSMA) scan on Tuesday 8th August and it shows a lot more cancer has spread through the bones than the previous (less accurate) cat scans had shown.
The PET scan has only been available for just over a year here in the US and gives much more accuracy on where the prostate cancer cells have spread.
I met with Professor Wang at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill yesterday and I was given two choices of treatment.
The first was not to have any more treatments, the reason being that my health has been significantly weakened by the last two failed treatments since last November – they were radium 223 and a second chemotherapy.
My lungs have been scarred and my heart is deteriorating with the stress of the treatments.
Professor Wang would allow me to have the newly approved FDA PSMA treatment, but I wouldn’t be strong enough to have any more treatments after that, and that treatment would need to start within weeks.
So that’s the situation for right now – I am leaning towards giving the PSMA treatment my best shot.
Again, many thanks for all your support on this through the years.
It is as it is - and (yet) another challenge in life.
I am at peace with the situation.

That must sting him surely? Honestly, that thought tickles me so much that I kind of hope that’s the truth of it, but I suspect I’m right with the superstitious angle. Either way, I’m just offering my take on it in the hope that a different perspective might help quell some of the anger that develops on here. Peace.

He’s buying into the team spirit it seems. Let Eddie have his pre-season with him and the team and I think he’ll get there. If anything, I think he comes across as too eager to impress at the moment. Needs the pressure off and just to play.

Hopefully a full pre season will help but I wudnt be putting my money on it. Anyway I don’t wish to go in on the guy after a great win and that’s not the intention, just my opinion.

So Newcastle have no club coefficient, but they do have one via their national association.
Currently topping the rankings, four English sides are guaranteed places in the Champions League group stage. France, in fifth, will only get three.
It means the difference between finishing third and fourth is non-existent, unlike previous years, when the fourth-place side had to qualify for the group phase via a play-off.
However, despite that easier passage to the group stage thanks to the association coefficient, Newcastle’s club coefficient means they will face one of the most difficult draws in the competition.
