To chip in on the potential penalty, watching the replays I thought Wilson started to go over before contact with the leg, had he have simply run into it and then gone over then I think he’d have got one

    Sparky,

It makes us “THE BEST F@CKING TEAM ON THE PLANET”…

    Well to me anyway 😉

Seriously though mate, we’ve been absolutely immense this season, I’ve always been wired to have a confident outlook in life…But I had predicted us finishing between 7th – 8th this season. Never in my wildest dreams did I see a potential top 3 finish happening. It actually makes you think, (after a top successful summer transfer window) what is actually achievable next season? I’m convinced we have CL football now. So, how will we do in the actual CL? I know we will be drawn into a group of death and whoever we are drawn against from the so called European elite, I’m sure they will not be happy or relishing that we are in their group, that’s for sure. Anything is possible with our team, literally anything. However I won’t be entitled and expect, I will just trust the process and whatever we achieve we achieve, if we fall short then we tried. For me this really is the start of our journey, hear on in and it’s amazing that we find ourselves 3-4 years ahead of the curve.

Apologies I went off on a tangent, it’s being an NUFC fan and the belief and amazing hope it brings. We deserve it all, every last one of us (obviously not the trolls).

    Onwards and upwards.

Ps have a good word with Lord Scattercash explain that we want some serious business conducted and money very well spent in the summer transfer window, please. Thanks 😉

Don’t think it’ll matter too much anyway as I’m sure we’ll be well drilled as usual and have far too much for Leicester.

Someone put a table up of points without VAR decisions. Think Liverpool had 9 less points on it. Not sure of the validity of said list and I believe there is no conspiracy at all.
However I do feel these ‘Big Clubs’ do have an affect on decisions made with their actions and pressure, almost bullying at times. I hark back to Fergie time and all that pish. It would take a strong minded ref to be uninfluenced by these psychological shenanigans. They’re only human after all.
Except wor Micky Oliver, takes no shit, probably the best in the EPL at moment. Tis a shame we never get the benefit of his no nonsense style. Howard Webb needs a squad of Oliver’s on his books.

TDS tbh mate last night was a disgrace the way you spoke to the whole blog, there was no direction it was to ‘all’, even if there had been, t’s still not cool.

For someone commenting on self awareness you can come over at a minimum self righteous, perhaps even narcissistic. There’s a good amount of what appears intellectual, and moral snobbery. Opinions often stated as fact, or at the very lieast positioned as the authority

No issue with you personally, don’t know you, but that’s how it comes across to me. Not sure why you didn’t just apologise today rather than blaming everyone else for driving you to it, surely as a grown, sensible guy, can take responsibility for your own emotions/experience – would have been much cooler

Is it a coincidence that wor Tripps was more confined to defensive duties than normal and was far more effective and accurate with his set piece delivery?

Not blowing as hard coz he isn’t up and down the pitch as much so when he delivers the set piece is calmer? Not sure, could be a thing maybe.

    Harley,

I don’t want to be to cocky or over confident as in the EPL any team can beat anyone on their day. However, NUFC will 100% get a victory on Monday, not just any victory I can see it being a massacre of epic proportions. It really is looking that way. We will have a weakened MF but we will still walk over them. Leicester have absolutely no fight left in them at all. It’s gone they are already confined to the Championship, most their players are thinking well I’m off anyway, don’t matter which is how they have came across of late which is unprofessional and on that note do we really want any of their players? I want players to be top professionals who battle all the way in whatever circumstances they find themselves in.

Is Trippier even crocked I never heard any of that mate?

He certainly didn’t look it. The lads ran their hearts out and apart from obviously Willock it was only a ? over Joelinton who was brought off as a possible injury. However it looked more like cramp. Apart from that all looked ok to me and I’ve not heard anything re possible injuries ?

    Raj,

Tripps will be available in my eyes, I don’t recall any knock he took yesterday. He was back to the old trippier yesterday and that’s huge for us as we rely on him a lot. He was still running at full pelt right to the end, it was him that won the ball and slipped the ball into Miggy for him to release Wilson for the 3rd he was fine then. He is ok for sure and maybe mind games by Dark Arts Eddie 😉

All things being equal we beat Leicester by two or three, but all things are not equal. We will have a weakened midfield, possibly significantly, Trippier also a doubt, we are backing up, while they are not, they will be fighting for their EPL place, and their own futures, and we press relentlessly and there must be a limit to how long we can sustain it. I expect a tough 90, where we will be asked to dig deep, and will face difficult periods, that must be endured, are we to win this one. It’s not likely to be remotely a gimme as some pundits are suggesting.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Ashby on the bench with Miley and ‘if’ we are winning easily then both of them getting a run out.

Eddie will have the best possible team out to start though.

I think a couple of new faces get the chance to step up and shine, the way he bigged up EA tells me he’s starting and I think Lewis Miley makes a significant showing given we stopped him going away with England.

Is someone dictating how one should feel how one should write what one should say yet again?

Anyways with a makeshift midfield possibly it won’t be the same performance as against Brighton but anything less than a win will be a disappointed. But if Villa win disappointment won’t be as strong
