    I went Pope.

Time stood still when that ball left Castsgnes foot. I couldn’t believe he saved it.

Nothing to do for 93 minutes then boom!!!

Was a tough watch as Leicester didn’t come to play. We win easily on another day. Not bothered though, we got the point and the CL place! Fans were great tonight, at least in the Gallowgate!

Agree with whoever posted that earlier. I wudnt say anti climactic, but it was relief. I just wanted a goal and it was a rough watch without it.

    We owe Pope so much

How did Bruno miss the header?

    Anyway, bed needed.

Well done Eddie and the boys .

I don’t like inverted wingers so no argument from me on them swopping wings. Put the crosses in and Wilson and Isak will deliver.

On Bruno’s miss by the post I felt he nutted the post after the header. If he’d put the ball in the net he would have properly smashed his head. It’s a fine line between brave and stupid.

    Munster,
I didn’t make it in the end no, however I had a nice night watching the game and celebrating our qualifying to the CL for next season with my Mam (Colleen), she had me in the auld Irish Mist, so we’ve had a novel tonight…

Great night for wor Club and what makes it so pleasing we managed to keep lfc out of the CL. The scousers would have been spitting feathers at their stolen TVs, we’ve finally went and done it. So pleased for us all, we deserve this, and it’s just the start fella 😉

We need to spend a pile lads. 3-4 upgrades on the first team, and quality squad additions too.

    Tierney
    Szoboszlai
    Thuram
    Young striker

But we also need someone who can pick a defence. Maddison?? Hardly, if we get Szoboszlai?

I think Bruno saw the post right in front of his noggin and didn’t want to knock himself out is the reason he missed it.

Agree re inverted wingers. Eddie’s unwillingness to alter that frustrates the shit out of me. Look how useful Murphy has been on the right. Why not try Miggy on the left during games??

What a journey this season has been, unbelievable stuff and so much more to come. Just hope none of us get entitled along the way, patience is key from here on in.

Easy for us to say watching the box Indiana. Harder in reality for Bruno.

Jeez at least in the next couple of months we won’t have Andy Hinchcliffe to listen to

He reminds me of that ex Wolves striker who used to hate us in the Championship. Amy takers? The bloke with the huge hair?

    What a cnut

Munster…I was just saying he probably saw the actual post out of the corner of his eye and didn’t full on head the ball or else I think we would have also pounded his own head into it….probably a bit wise 😉

People will say they’re surprised that we finished in the top four, and no doubt I’m surprised too, but when you look at the stats from January last year when we started to get going under Eddie, over a 38 game period we were in and around the top four

We’ve kept up the momentum from January 2022 then and maintained our position in that area of the table, and I think the club have played a blinder in making the media think its going to be a quiet summer for us

Eddie achieved that top 4 as he got to he team overachieving.
3 or 4 upgrades needed. The 4 they replace can be active as squad players.
    Tierney at left back
Somebody with pace to replace Schar
Maddison in the middle for Willock
Somebody on right wing for Miggy who drives me mad cutting in. How many times did he reach the bye line to track back? The forwards must be going nuts.

Jmiley I think Eddie values pressing ahead of creativity. Miggy needs to be tried on left, I can’t work out why Eddie doesn’t try it here and there. Feck I drank too much coffee tearing home the 200km from Dublin. I’ll be awake all night 🙁

Eddie won’t overspend if he can avoid it.
He wants players that will grow, listen, learn, be part of a team effort.
We don’t need no stinking egos!

A lot of talk that Bruno should have been sent off. Anyone remember when Willock was kicked right in his midsection?
