Behind The Scenes Match-Cam Video For Newcastle’s 0-0 Draw With Leicester And Qualification For Champions League

Here is the Match-Cam video from last night’s 0-0 home draw with Leicester City, with the point qualifying Newcastle for the Champions League next season, for the first time since the 2003-2004 season under the incomparable Sir Bobby Robson.

In the Match-Cam we see the players arriving, warming up, then different video footage of the game from ground level, and these videos seem to be really popular.

There are clips at half-time with three male owners having a shootout challenge – if you can call it that.

๐Ÿ™‚

And at the end there are new shots of the players and their families and Eddie How meeting the Chairman and getting a big hug from ….. Amanda Staveley.

During the game we did everything but score and win, but in the 92nd minute Nick Pope made an absolutely brilliant save, otherwise we could have even lost the game.

But we got the draw, and all of Tyneside is now celebrating an amazing and historic accomplishment for this season.

To be an England manager you have to be a โ€œyesโ€ man..

Could never imagine Howe and tindall being a version of graham Taylor and Phil neal..

    Me neither.. ๐Ÿ˜†

    Magic

Not sure that his unique training methods would be compatible with the part time training that GS has to do with the England squad.

Eddie is hands on 24/7 either on the training ground or in his head!

Magic, a certain Miss Rabbit has video of you dancing in a certain bar in the Toon (not the D & P). I can state, without any doubt, you ARE a sand dancer. ๐Ÿ™‚

Phillips and Maguire still getting selected for England is a joke. They’ve done nothing this season. I couldn’t give a rats ass if they played ok for England 6 months or 12 months ago. It’s stupid to select them after barely kicking a ball since then or been in bad form when they have like Maguire.

oh…so we get to see Dubs play against Chelsea. Hope he has a good game. Sounds like the job is done and I bet Eddie is left it up to the players on whether they wanted to fight all out one more time or let some others get some valuable game time. Smart move and although would be nice to keep third it really is job done for the season. As far as the over achieving goes…I don’t think we necessarily over achieved but did pretty much squeeze about every last drop out of what we could…although there were quite a few draws that could have definitely chalked up as wins. That does bode well for next year as well. Realistically next year I think we move out of the group stage in CL and still fight for top 4 but hopefully stay top 5-6 to keep European football going. That and push for some cup silverware again and we are still on track. Going to be a lot of games next year and not sure many in this group had much more in them. Another solid 3 for the front, middle, and back, and a couple of young one with the right character and potential and I think we will continue to hold our own.

International football is always difficult to pick a squad for. I don’t always agree with Southgate’s selections or tactics but I do admire that he picks players to suit the system he wants to play with England and players who do well for England.

I get the clamour to pick players based on club form, that must play a part in terms of initial selection, but once in the squad, if you don’t let the side down, I don’t see why you should lose your place because somebody else has shown better form for a different team in a different competition.

Southgate has just fallen into the trap of all England managers though as said he’d pick on form and not on name, when he really should have said he’s picking players to suit his system and picked based on England form.

Helped shut some of those bars down lol. Also didn’t help that quite a few were letting in underage college kids haha. Around 2016-2018 that street was hoppin!
