Here is an excellent video made by Newcastle Fans TV, one of the top Vlogs on Newcastle, after the game ended which shows the players, coaches and their families at St James’ Park – it’s just great to watch, and you can feel the atmosphere.
You can subscribe to their YouTube channel here.
And I heard Hey Baby being sung by the crowd after the game.
It was a big hit for Bruce Channel in the UK back in 1961 – when I was a young 31 – if I remember correctly?
🙂

The lads got the job done last night, and we are so pleased the new ownership and Eddie Howe and his brilliant staff have brought the smiles back on Newcastle fans’ faces all over the world.
Newcastle city center must be buzzing these days.
Howay The Bonnie Lads!!

Comment #44Not to take too much from snippets like this but if you watch ASM throughout this and his demeanor he did not look like someone that was overly excited and like he would be taking part in the fruit of all of this. Just an observation and could be just the way he is but looked just a bit…neither here nor there.

Comment #45It’s why the vast majority of NUFC fans will always have a huge respect for Rafa Benitez as he has tweeted the below about us getting CL qualification:
“Congratulations to all involved. Howay the lads!”
Fair play to him and will always be welcomed back to SJP and get a great reception.

Given that Trips has played in every single game, I’d be inclined to give it to him.

This is usually where Arsenal’s problems start when they have to start giving guys wage rises at that level its happened to them before
Saka in today’s market is totally worth it though

Not sure what happened last night as we left in plenty of time to get there, half an hour before KO but the three programme sellers in the ground had packed up and gone 🙁

Comment #50Been watching and reading loads of tid bits about the club Today.
One bit I loved was that after getting the canteen fixed up to standard and employing a nutritionist, the club now “locally sources” all of their produce and use local bakeries too.
Great that the club continue to enrich the area as a whole. Love it. 😀

Comment #51How the hell are we going to make CL nights better than what we’ve experienced recently?
Doesn’t seem possible. 🙂

Well, first of all, should be very big games considering our abysmall UEFA rating.
So i don’t worry about that, we will face top guns and the atmosphere will be great.

Beautifully put regarding Jo the Lion, mate.
Exactly why he’s PotS for me…plus, 101% commitment in every minute of every game, totally loves it when he scores or any team mate, for that matter!
NEVER GOES MISSING!!!
If Brazil had stepped up and pick him and Bruno, Messi et al wouldn’t have got a look in.
Saka, 300k p/w

Comment #56Paddy Power only has us second favorites for the league next season, they reckon with our summer recruitment we’re going to be the biggest threat to Man City 😀

Still a twisty £&@k tho’!
Shows that they know NOWT.
Guess work ain’t good enough!
They get paid for that?
No wonder Saka’s getting 300k….

Comment #59I’m inclined to take Eddie’s comments on spending at face value in that we won’t be spending ridiculous amounts (that’s open to interpretation and perspective of course). If we were to though:
Diaby
Maddison
Szoboszlai
Osimhen or Vlahovic
Caicedo or similar mold
Top left back
Top centre half
Top up and coming right back
I’d be tempted to move Maxi on, dependent on fee

Comment #60Of the latest players were have been linked with Mohammed Kudus certainly looks interesting. I havent watched Ajax this season so I am just going on the WC and YouTube but seems like he could be a great addition – quick, skillful and versatile (can play as a CAM, RW or striker) Only 22 but with international and CL experience too:
https://youtu.be/No8RWqGLZ5I
Also, If it is true that Milenkovic-Savic I going to be available for only £25M in the Summer then he is certainly worth a bid to bolster our midfield options. He is 28 now but brings bags of experience and quality:

I can understand why you would nominate Trips as player of the season mate, i think he has been our most influential player, but as the team has made such massive improvement and progress, i still think you could make a valid argument for any individual player winning player of the season for varying reasons mate HWTL.

Comment #65Out of 37 league games this season, Trippier played the full 90 minutes in all of them, bar 6. And of those six where he was substituted he still played 82, 83, 79, 63, 86 and 69 minutes. Machine.
