Harvey Barnes Already In Philadelphia – His First Interview After Joining Newcastle

Here is Harvey Barnes first interview with nufcTV – and the lad has just arrived in Philadelphia for the game tonight, although Harvey will just be watching the game.

It’s a very good interview – and he seems a really nice lad – another one in the squad!

And he is very enthusiastic and smiles a lot – what more could we ask for?

Goals perhaps?

🙂

Comments welcome.

Wouldn’t like playing a game of poker against Eddie Howe .
Didn’t he say yesterday we weren’t close to signing anyone while Barnes was trying with the squad .
He has some poker face alright 😉

    Great news.
    Welcome Harvey Barnes !
I suspect he was our key target all along and not Maddison who wanted Spurs to keep his missus happy.

After Tonali you can see the grand plan taking shape.

Meanwhile Darlow was on a plane home and lily to sign for Leeds , a good move for him and his family. Solid pro.

Expect Maxi sale of ÂŁ30m to be announced next.

Darlow + Maxi = Barnes and books balanced with scope for further signings.

Eddie and Dan know exactly what they are doing.
    Very reassuring.

    Mund,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it seems you are OOT of FPL H2H as the deadline to re-join was on Friday. You can still play in Ed’s main league though if you just sign in and create a team.

    Premier League Odds 23/24

    Man City 8/11
    Arsenal 5/1
    Liverpool 8/1
    Man Utd 10/1
    Chelsea 11/1
    Newcastle 14/1
    Tottenham 40/1
    Brighton 50/1
    Villa 150/1

Think the scousers are overpriced myself.

    Newcastle 7/1 to finish top2.

Not a bad little bet. I know Pep is a genius but think Man City could have an off year and finish 3rd..

Harvey Barnes, IMO. A great signing, a perfect Eddie Howe player, fits in with the squad perfectly, personally really excited, just watch him, Tonali and Gordon go next season. Cheers GWH

Rather stick with Maxi all day this kid is over rated N to think we paid more for him then we get selling Maxi for is a joke. Diaby a much better player should have went for him. Newcastle left winger should always be a tricky french men. Will still support the kid but hes not on Maxi level at all not N upgrade.

maxi always looked like a ferrari with the ball at his feet.

the other 89 minutes he looked like a donkey struggling to run. it was painful to watch.

i love football , so i love maxi. but he would be the first one out the door if were a proper manager

The Ledge, Hibbitt, Totally agree regarding Eddie H. he does not give anything away, which is no problem to me OR the media ! Also Hibbitt, Anderson, Would IMO be a very good signing and blend in with our existing back four etc……cheers. GWH

Newcastle 1/5 to finish higher than Villa.

So that’s what the oddsmaker’s think about our sides and chances this year.

    Warm welcome to Harvey Barnes!

It’s been clear for a long time now that intensity, supreme fitness, discipline and camaraderie are key for entry to the squad. If you don’t pass the attitude test, you don’t get in.

Sprinkle some world-class talent into the mix, let Eddie work his magic and hang on for the ride of a lifetime folks!

The future is bright, the future is black and white.

I love Maxi but this is what’s needed for us to move forward. Can’t wait for the lad to show the doubters what he is all about

I feel if Howe have a choice he would keep ASM, nothing beats a wild card in hand. Although no one knows ASM’s decision, he might be the one that wants to leave? Anyway it’s history, looking forward to more signings.

We were 18/1 to win the Premiership on Sky Bet a few weeks back.
A couple of signings and we’re at 14/1
A few more and we’ll be odds on favourites.

Most of the football world wants ManU2 and the Scousers to be mired in mid table along with Chelsea and Spurs.

Top 3 between City, Arsenal and United.
Brighton, even Villa are welcome to contribute to the party.

Football first, no winging cheats allowed. Wonder if the refs will book or send off those who threaten them as the FA has dictated.

I put my “Daft Fiver” on Newcastle United to win EPL a couple of days ago and I got 16/1. I see it’s gone down to 14/1 in just a few days – maybe I should have put my bet on sooner!

    Hmm,

    00:00 hrs KO 😳

Anyone got a strategy for the next six hours?

    1. Power drinking powerfully hopped IPA until 21:30 then a 2 hr nap.

    2. Go to bed now.

    3. Measured alcohol intake with food and conversation.

    4. Binge-watch TV catch-up on Jack Ryan

    5. More FPL tinkering, leading to binge-drinking.

    Alternative suggestions welcome.

    🙂
