I’d have been gutted if a consecutive first had been on the cards and I wasn’t logged in 😕

Regan – considering I had exactly the same opinion as you, I’m not sure why you took that as a criticism. Just letting you know that others felt the same as you and the offer was already declined.

Sorry that my clarity of language offends thee.

Eddie saying he tries not to swear much, I don’t believe that for a second. I bet the episode when we have a bad run of form is 18 rated!!

Juventus kicked out of Europa League and fined £17.4m for breaking FFP rules.
Chelsea fined £8.5m Chelsea for breaching FFP rules as a result of “submitting incomplete financial information”.

Where is the justice? Neither of those punishments are adequate but Chelsea’s is pathetic.

Should have arranged a meet up for the Sela cup.

According to Eddie there are a couple of midfield places going in my team tonight. Both Sean and Joe are not ready, so we’re looking for two replacements to partner Bruno. How about Tonali and Joelinton. Or perhaps Miley and Anderson.

Tonali has to play. Being blunt about it he hasn’t impressed really so far, so every 45 or 90 mins is important for him to get used to playing prem teams. Great pre season though, far better than stuffing a few lower grade Dutch outfits.

If I am insulted/abused I will respond in kind – no mistake about that.

Pots, to be fair Juve were already docked points in Serie A which led to them not being in the CL and now they are not in Europe and the fine contributes to there FFP issues going forward so overall I would not say it is a weak punishment.

As for Chelsea we don’t now the details “incomplete financial info” can mean anything really. The offense could be really minor.

As soon as people hear a rule is broken (regardless of not knowing the full deatils) they want the book thrown at some other club but they won’t think that way if it were us. If it is a minor breach of the rules it is natural that the punishment is not that severe.

Munster, I do agree. Probably why EH brings new signings in slowly. They have to get used to the relentless pace.

Well I think that Chelsea should have been fined £500m and have 30 points docked from next season.

    Nowt against them though! 🙂

Tonali will be fine, would not be surprised if he doesn’t start the first couple of PL games though as I thought that all along, as Pug said he will be eased in. He still need to get to know our tactics his teammates and the league.

Also based on the Bruno body cam have Bruno shout Sandro!! Sandro!! every time he gets ball might be a tad distracting.

Lastly, judging players on preseason matches is a fools game. How they perform over time in games that count is all that matters.

Mister Tuff, without having communicated with you in months, within the last few days you have had several (inaccurate) cracks at me. May I suggest the OED and go to H for hypocritical? Will sit back and take your childish response. Dobry Vecer. (You will have to figure that one out). Education is never wasted. 🙂

Just banta of course. A bit like hazard lights on a car making it invisible.

Got my ticket confirmed for tonight! Can’t believe it. Didn’t think it was happening, I’m ower the moon. Looks like I’m driving to Danbury to get picked up and then on to Harrison, NJ for the game. Seven hour round trip but it’ll be worth it.

Sorry to Anytoon/NY Mag but I won’t be able to meet up due to the crappy drive and also depending on my brother-in-law for getting back. Hopefully we can meet up at some point in the future and catch a league game at a pub or something.

    Reet, best be off! 😀

Eddie Howe said that he is looking to play a completely different 11 that played on Wednesday, given it’s 2 games in 3 days. He also said Longstaff, Willock, and Manquillo not ready to play yet. So, I imagine he will go Karius and Pope – 45 each.
    Then, Ashby, Lascelles, Dummett, Targett.
    Then, Bruno, Anderson, *another??
    Then, Murphy, Wilson, Barnes
