Newcastle fans have two games to watch this weekend as Newcastle play in the Sela Cup featuring
Newcastle United, Fiorentina, Nice, and Villarreal at St. James’Park – the final two friendlies before we kick off the season at home to Aston Villa next weekend.

The games take place tomorrow and Sunday.


Saturday 5th August:

07:30 OGC Nice vs Villarreal CF 
10:30 Newcastle vs ACF Fiorentina 

Sunday 6 August 2023 

08:00 ACF Fiorentina vs OGC Nice 
11:00 Newcastle vs Villarreal CF

We should add that Newcastle United Women play West Bromwich Albion Women at St. James’ Park on Saturday, 5th August KO 6:00pm as part of the two-day Sela Cup.

If Lobby doesn’t feature the morn, then Toonali is starting against Villa.
Then it’s Lobby’s job to win his place back,barring rotation of course.
It’s taking some getting used too mind…

Yep, great isnt’ it. What it also means is that we are less predictable for opponents coaches and analysts. If we here can’t figure out our starting 11 then no-one else can either.

Perhaps if people don’t enjoy me making a point to defend myself, they should tell people to shut the f up when they’re grossly twisting my words, making out I said things I would never have said, and insulting me WHEN I’M NOT EVEN ONLINE READING THE BLOG!

8th February, 2024

An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.

And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.

There are no treatments left for me to go on.

I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.

It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.

I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
