This video will be well worth watching and it is the behind-the-scenes video (video match cam) taken by nufcTV for our first Premier League game of the season – at home to a good-looking Aston Villa.
Both sides did very well last season with Newcastle finishing in 4th place on 71 points and Villa finishing in 7th place on 61 points.
But it turned out to be a no-contest with Newcastle blowing away the Villains in the second half, after leading 2-1 at the break.
Newcastle went into a higher gear after half time and we looked absolutely awesome and added three unanswered goals for the 5-1 win.
Did I say we were awesome?

PS – I am just finding out that the We Are Newcastle United prime video from Amazon has not been released in the US with no set date for release yet.
What?

Comment #122Coming Home – next 2 games are going to be huge tests so I’m absolutely looking forward to those! I’ll be very happy if my lack of Toon players makes me lose those FPL games. 🙂
Nite fella.

It’s quite tragic watchin klopp come apart at the seems.
I hope he’ll be alright when Eddie doesn’t engage in his mind games and let’s our football do the schooling in a couple of weeks. 🙂

Comment #124Two observations about Tonali:
First he got a good left foot too.
Second, he got a good ability to project himself forward, in the opponent pen area. Something i didn’t expected considering his statistics with Milan, but he will probably be more attack minded with us.

Comment #126Hey Dr Ed, I used the Amazon help and feedback feature. I said Newcastle are top of the table so they should go ahead and release the video in the US as they had advertised.

Early days indeed but I can’t resist winding you up on that. It wasn’t just Isak btw, I had Barnes and Botman too.
🙂
For you this GW comes down to Rashford vs the wrong Bruno. How do you feel about that? – I know exactly how I feel and I want a Wolves win!
😉
Principals.
🙂
Next GW I imagine I will drop points as I intend to drop all Citeh players from my team and see what happens. Fortunately I am up against “average” then.
All fun and games.

The next two games couldn’t come a better time. City definitely the toughest of the two matches. Liverpool at home could be another villa situation as I see it.

We are looking scarily good atm. The players look well focused. Our opponents should be afraid.
That’s even before we’ve even bought the who to increase our revenue. 😉

Comment #140I know money talks and all that but I just can’t see Bruno moving to another premier league team. Certainly not this season. I mean, why leave the champions league winning team to go and play for a lowly team like Liverpool?
I loves my hubris, it goes great with breadsticks.

Comment #143Gavi yellow for asking for a penalty. It’s would have been a soft one and VAR sends the ref to the monitor. No penalty, but handball against Barca in the104th minute. A comical end to a really poor game. Second poor game of the day featuring a team all in blue. 🙁

Comment #151Niafron, I know this is not good for PSG, but I’m pleased that most of the mercenaries of European Football are all collecting in Saudi. It will help the exposure of their league certainly, but it levels up all of the main leagues in Europe, so that coaching comes to be more important, if all these prima donnas are somewhere else.
Has gone good for us with a solid squad & great coaching team. 🙂

Comment #157Ace50, I know but we might have to give him a pay rise. Klopp will be getting desperate but with 3 seasons left on his contract we could just refuse any offers and not give permission for them to talk to him. Mind, if he watched them this afternoon, they were shocking all over the pitch.
