Video Match Cam Of Newcastle’s Fantastic 5-1 Win At Home To Villa

This video will be well worth watching and it is the behind-the-scenes video (video match cam) taken by nufcTV for our first Premier League game of the season – at home to a good-looking Aston Villa.

Both sides did very well last season with Newcastle finishing in 4th place on 71 points and Villa finishing in 7th place on 61 points.

But it turned out to be a no-contest with Newcastle blowing away the Villains in the second half, after leading 2-1 at the break.

Newcastle went into a higher gear after half time and we looked absolutely awesome and added three unanswered goals for the 5-1 win.

Did I say we were awesome?

    Goodnight CH, I’m blushing 😉

Goodnight AGM, everyone loves a blooper 😀

Ace I suspect now they’ve got Caicedo, they’ll not bother with Lavia, but we’ll see, they’re all going a bit mental from what I’m seeing.

And with that, it’s goodnight from me.

No close up shots of the technical areas or the bench areas on MOTD.

Also nothing at all about Klopp collapsing on his knees.

Something going on here. What I do know is that if EH collapsed onto his knees in protest at a decision it would be all over the press.

For those using a device that doesn’t show the sidebar comments…

    10 August, 2023

“I had a PET (PSMA) scan on Tuesday 8th August and it shows a lot more cancer has spread through the bones than the previous (less accurate) cat scans had shown.

The PET scan has only been available for just over a year here in the US and gives much more accuracy on where the prostate cancer cells have spread.

I met with Professor Wang at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill yesterday and I was given two choices of treatment.

The first was not to have any more treatments, the reason being that my health has been significantly weakened by the last two failed treatments since last November – they were radium 223 and a second chemotherapy.

My lungs have been scarred and my heart is deteriorating with the stress of the treatments.

Professor Wang would allow me to have the newly approved FDA PSMA treatment, but I wouldn’t be strong enough to have any more treatments after that, and that treatment would need to start within weeks.

So that’s the situation for right now – I am leaning towards giving the PSMA treatment my best shot.

Again, many thanks for all your support on this through the years.

It is as it is – and (yet) another challenge in life.

I am at peace with the situation.”

So Chelsea upped their bid for Brighton’s Ecuador midfielder Moises Caicedo from £80m to £115m move to complete the signing and piss off Klopp at the same time.
Now Danny Murphy has his say stating that Liverpool were not really fussed about signing him.

Both clubs are a joke. Bohly and Chelsea are out of control.

chelsea have spent £820 million in 3 windows, they where fined 10 million for breaking ffp rules during last owner, the pl didnt say much about this and it should have been pointed out what did they do and how long did it go on for, it seems that every club in the league can do what they like but we have to abide by ffp and its really p*****ng me off big time

I’m with you on Rice, I don’t see what all the fuss is about, Bruno does everything he does with 2 scoops of icing sugar on top.
But I don’t see what a lot of journalism sees, they get paid to write absolute drivel.
I mean does anyone here lister Lee Ryder or Craig Hope? Only the very old and gullible.
I have 2 good eyes and an understanding of the game.

Klopps outrage at the rise of newcastle is reminiscent of Rafa’s outbursts at Ferguson…meanwhile Eddie just doesnt react and lets his coaching and results do all the talking.

All we should do when watching the stream of digs come through from Klopp is understand we’ve got him so rattled that the end for Klopp is near.. we are properly under his skin and that eat away at him to such a degree it’ll be detrimental…especially when we murder them at ours.

Raj…Try spltting 1p over 5 years…just not worth the accounting headache. Far easier to round up to the nearest £5m. Chelsea clearly know what they’re doing…

As for Klopp, can you imagine needing to start dragging other clubs down after 1 game to try and justify your own short comings. Pathetic.

So excited for Saturday and that’s not normal when facing City at the Ethiad! Have some FPL decisions to make mind, I imagine a few others on here could be NEW and MCY heavy like me. I gotta choose between Pope and Ederson. Made the right call this weekend, but think I’m gonna go with my heart and pick Pope this time around.

Plenty more wallopings of top teams to enjoy this year.

Catchy – have never liked Rice. His passing range stops at about 5 yards…

I don’t quite get the outrage on here that we’re restricted by FFP.

I’m loving the fact that we are flying while operating within our means.

It makes the irrational haters like Klopp look even sillier and hypocritical when they go off on their rants.

I think what is happening with Klopp is that he is seeing Eddie and his team evolve the modern pressing game to great effect.

Klopp’s team has degraded and haven’t seemed to recover from losing Gigi Wijnaldum and Mane.

LFC were lucky against us last season in both games. Once because of some borderline refereeing and the other because our inexperience had the players shit the bed in the run up to the cup final.

    This season will be different.

Klopp knows that the writing is on the wall and the NUFC juggernaut keeps steamrolling on.

Even if LFC get Lavia or Caicedo in before we play them, how did those players perform against us last season? I mean we beat Southampton 4 times. Then it was 0-0 at the amex in August against Potters side and 4-1 at the cathedral.

I’m totally with you on that, I think it’s fantastic that we’re doing as well as we are, whilst not breaking any rules or taking the p1ss with FFP. Just makes it that much sweeter that other clubs are struggling so hard to match us.

100%, good coaches work with what they have, and money is the only thing that some of these so called good coaches are more motivators than great coaches.
In Howe, or Pep, Emery, De zerbi. These are good coaches and motivators.
Man u, Liverpool and esp Chelsea spend very big and are ruining the game.

Probably some PC decision incase he gets upset and embarrassed and sue’s the BBC

As for VAR. Why don’t they show the offside lines anymore. Is that to avoid suggestions of corrupt decision making and to protect the officials feelings ? Or are robots running the show ?

There’s a lot of manipulation of the facts in media

Eddie’s coaching team are clearly fantastic.

They know exactly what to do to get a tune out of what many would have been forgiven for thinking as mediocre top-level players (not top top).

Like catchy sais, De Zerbi, Emery and I would include Potter in that category all implement systems where the whole is greater than the parts.

Obviously Eddie is the better than the others though!

In fairness to Klopp, he’s probably right – even Howe has joked about it himself – they managed it well at the weekend.

However, the fact he feels the need to mention us regularly, especially when we’re not even playing them says he’s worried about us, and he’s right to be.

Liverpool are desperate for defensively minded midfielders and seemingly can’t even buy themselves out of trouble, because players would rather warm the bench at Chelsea under Poch. Based on their performance yesterday they will be destroyed by teams that know how to break quickly (us, Man City, even Spurs) – they are so open – had Chelsea had longer under Poch and his playing style they’d have been thoroughly embarrassed yesterday, they got away with it.

I called it the other day, Klopp will be the first manager getting the bullet from one of the big teams in the league this year. When you start with a midfield three of Mac Allister, Szlob and Gakpo then you’re just asking for teams to hit you on the counter as their is zero cover for the defence.

Preferably with a medium size club with the potential to grow and develop in the short term. Need him looking good for when the FA start to look around for Southgate’s successor.

I can see him at Everton when Dyche inevitably gets the chop – it’ll be a shame though, I don’t ever want to see a manager I like and admire at Everton ever again.

Or Palace, if Hodgson’s advancing years prove too much for the job.

This blog is all about different opinions.

I like Craig Hope’s video casts. He is balanced and entertaining. He’s not infallible, of course, but he’s nearer the truth than many.

I didn’t think Dan Burn had his best game on Saturday. Cash exposed him a bit in the second half. But it’s early days and he is nothing but reliable.

I like women’s football for what it is. After years of neglect by men, it is now developing. The skill level is progressing. Comparisons with the men are ludicrous. Don’t watch it, if you don’t like it !

There you have it. 3 opinions different to others. No rancour involved. And hopefully no vitriol back.
