I had a PET (PSMA) scan on Tuesday 8th August and it shows a lot more cancer has spread through the bones than the previous (less accurate) cat scans had shown.
The PET scan has only been available for just over a year here in the US and gives much more accuracy on where the prostate cancer cells have spread.
I met with Professor Wang at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill yesterday and I was given two choices of treatment.
The first was not to have any more treatments, the reason being that my health has been significantly weakened by the last two failed treatments since last November – they were radium 223 and a second chemotherapy.
My lungs have been scarred and my heart is deteriorating with the stress of the treatments.
Professor Wang would allow me to have the newly approved FDA PSMA treatment, but I wouldn’t be strong enough to have any more treatments after that, and that treatment would need to start within weeks.
So that’s the situation for right now – I am leaning towards giving the PSMA treatment my best shot.
Again, many thanks for all your support on this through the years.
It is as it is - and (yet) another challenge in life.
I am at peace with the situation.

Comment #561You don’t seriously believe anything that horrible evil ugly man says, did you see him laughing about the touchline ban saying it would only effect us. Even his own fans are turning against him, he mentions us having no ceiling every opportunity. Could you see Eddie Howe, running up to the fourth official and screaming in his face.

I don’t think anyone will understand the passion us northerners have. One thing we don’t do is forget.
Klopp has been shameful in some of his comments since the takeover happened.

Blaming Howe and Tindall for the dugout rule changes when it was more to do with him and Arteta…
The list goes on. The same reason we can’t stand Ten Hag or Arteta. They are for one rival managers and for two they’ve had a lot to say over the last two year. One never forgets

Comment #563Carltoon – did you see Eddie’s response to Klopp’s comments about it only affecting us? Klopp is right, it’s just down to a particular way that Howe and Tindall operate. Klopp laughs about stuff all the time!
For sure, some of his fans will be turning against him because they’re not getting the results they want, but some of their fans are spoiled brats who were moaning for years when Man Utd were winning the PL but Liverpool had to “settle” for winning English & European cups. Some of their fans are bell ends.

The rules of the dugout got changed because of the abuse towards the 4th officials etc…
This was nothing to do with Howe or Tindall but once again a rule changes that affects us the most. They are both very professional.
One needs to ask themselves how many rules have been changed since the takeover:..? I’d put my house on it that there’s been more rule changes since that day than in the last 10 years

My bad as i`m always assuming the Bard is a man, hence the comment about not having to buy a pint, but the Bard could just as likely be a Woman, so a pina colada, Martini, or perhaps a Vodka might be more appropriate, just a thought 😀 😀
