Here is an interesting video of Lewis Hall signing for Newcastle yesterday.
It goes behind the scenes and shows how Lweis meets the manager Eddie Howe and some of his future teammates.

An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated
Ed Harrison

I shall know it as the Curious case of Matt Targett, he was fantastic in that first spell, so much so the club spent £15M on him, a seemingly innocuous injury and all the chatter turned to the club being after a new LB. Although I don’t think most of us don’t think Hall will be an immediate or even regular starter, I don’t think he’s behind Targett in the pecking order and I definitely don’t think we’ll see him in LM, all I can think of is that we have evolved far too quickly for his level, as you say, a real shame for the lad as he’s not put a foot wrong.

Hi Bill mate, i watch all Eddie`s links on Tyneside Life mate and enjoy them, he suffered acute depression in his life mate, and i didn`t realise he also has autism, that`s a lot to deal with in your life, so fair play to the lad for making his life so positive and successful Bill, definitely a good news story.

Comment #128Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph has provided an update that could hand the Magpies a boost in their pursuit of the player.
As per the London Is Blue podcast, Chalobah has apparently been told by the Blues that they’ll be accepting bids for him.
There is a caveat for Newcastle and other suitors, however. The player is apparently in no rush to leave Chelsea and wants to fight for his spot.
That said, if the Blues are intent on moving him on, Chalobah may well have to move if he wants first-team football.
This is where Newcastle could come in.
Our view
Chalobah would be a smart signing for Newcastle as he’s talented, young, versatile and not overly expensive.
He can play at centre-back or central midfield. And he clearly has the potential to improve further in the years to come.

Chalobah was someone I quite fancied for us but now that we have done that loan deal for Hall probably can’t get him can we?
As if we couldn’t sign hall because of FFP not sure we can do another unless it’s a loan

Comment #132So, this red card review panel.
I’m thinking their remit is to assess the actual incident and not whether the referee made a clear an obvious error in his decision making.
There is definite contact, studs up, halfway up the opponents shin bone. If they were looking at the refs decision you cannot say he made a clear and obvious error in awarding the pen. Just a soft pen.
I think we need to get our appeal forms lined up if this is the way 😆

Comment #133Steve Bruce has came out that we tried to sign Caceido for 4.5 million after nickson was raving about him but he turned us down for Brighton
2 things to take from that
Nickson is awesome he’s wanted some class players that Ashley didn’t move for the club should always get his first choices from South America
Bruce would’ve ruined Cacedio by playing him as a false 10 or something daft like that

It is because part of the CL payment system is based on their rank. This is how it works:
The teams are ranked according to this algorithm from No. 1 to No. 32, with bonus points given for hoisting European trophies. Then the money is paid out in shares, according to a team’s rank. The lowest-ranked team earns one share (€1.137 million), while the top-ranked team earns 32 shares, or €36.38 million.
So every time a team that ranks below us qualifies for the groups then we move the ranks a place and get 1 extra share.
So far we are the 4th lowest ranking team that has/will qualify so we get €4.548 but the results I suggested above would move us up the ranks again.

Comment #147I can breath a rather large sigh of relief
I received the rear window for my Motorhome yesterday and it’s been fitted today! Even though it was the back window and I had the vehicle backed up as near as I could to my garage it’s a massive relief to have it as secure as possible again! Mind all told it’s cost me £560!
Phew!

Unfortunately it does not. It is the coefficient points over the last 5 years which determine the payment ranking thing that I was on about and also which pot you end up in the draw.
