After losing 1-0 at Manchester City last weekend in our first defeat of the season we have a tough home game on Sunday against Liverpool – it’s the late KO game at 4:30pm.

The following policies should be taken into consideration before commenting:
I had a PET (PSMA) scan on Tuesday 8th August and it shows a lot more cancer has spread through the bones than the previous (less accurate) cat scans had shown.
The PET scan has only been available for just over a year here in the US and gives much more accuracy on where the prostate cancer cells have spread.
I met with Professor Wang at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill yesterday and I was given two choices of treatment.
The first was not to have any more treatments, the reason being that my health has been significantly weakened by the last two failed treatments since last November – they were radium 223 and a second chemotherapy.
My lungs have been scarred and my heart is deteriorating with the stress of the treatments.
Professor Wang would allow me to have the newly approved FDA PSMA treatment, but I wouldn’t be strong enough to have any more treatments after that, and that treatment would need to start within weeks.
So that’s the situation for right now – I am leaning towards giving the PSMA treatment my best shot.
Again, many thanks for all your support on this through the years.
It is as it is - and (yet) another challenge in life.
I am at peace with the situation.

Comment #2121Said all transfer window i’d like to see us sign a number 10/playmaker type of player. Think Tonali means we won’t get one now, but only time will tell if it’s the right decision or not.
Too early in the season to know.

Comment #2123I think it’s great that we have real choices in so many positions and the right gaffer to decide who goes where and when. Happy days!

Comment #2126They’re reporting in The Mag comments that Targett is trying to get a move. Does that mean he’s been told he’s no longer second in the pecking order?

Comment #2127The CL pots are now pretty clear:
Pot 3:
Shakhtar Donetsk, Red Bull Salzburg, AC Milan, Braga, Lazio, Red Star Belgrade
+ Copenhagen (if they win tonight) or Young Boys (If Copenhagen get knocked out)
+ Winners of Rangers vs PSV
Pot 4:
Real Sociedad, Galatasaray, Celtic, Newcastle United CC, Union Berlin, Lens
+ Winners of Royal Antwerp vs AEK Athens
+ Young Boys (If Copenhagen win) or Rakow Czestochowa (if they beat Copenhagen)

Comment #2128Quick reminder, Spurs have been knocked out of the Carabao cup before some clubs have even entered it.

At risk of dragging it out, I didn’t mean fans’ faith and trust in the youngster. I was talking about the manager showing trust and faith in that player and how that can help take them to the next level.
If what Howe says is true about wanting to win every game then a cup game is no different to a league game by that logic. So whether he restricts Anderson to cup games against lower league opposition, which he has more than proven himself against in the past, then that doesn’t really show any faith or trust that he can step up to the level required. That could be dangerous to a players development.
But like you, I believe Howe knows what he is doing and any youngster coming through these days has the best chance of developing into a top level professional than any of their counterparts in the past.
