Kieran Trippier Returns Home On A Personal Matter

Kieran Trippier has returned to Newcastle after playing the full game in England’s 2-0 win over Malta in a Euro 2024 qualifier and England have already qualified for the finals in Germany next summer.

And some surprising news today that the talented Newcastle full-back has returned home to deal with a personal; matter.

This is how Newcastle announced the news about Trippier on their X (Twitter) account:

We have no idea what the problem is and we don’t need to know either.

We have to hope it’s not a serious matter, and we expect Trippier to be available for our vital home game against an improving Mauricio Pochettino Chelsea side, next Saturday at an unusual KO time – 3:00 pm.

Comments welcome.

It might sound no big deal but the Toon ladies have a full coach load of travelling fans going to back them in Nottingham today, it won`t be long before our ladies away support outnumbers the home fans.
    Well done to all concerned.

The way these investigations are going by the PL and the FA regarding FFP and dodgy dealings by PL clubs, especially the likes of Chelsea and Citeh, no doubt Liverpool and Manure owners could have sweaty palms anarl, it`s only a matter of time before the PL could be a two horse race once that lot get points deductions or even demotion.
The Toon for the title next season anyone? 🙂

Good day mate, i trust all is well for you on you`re side of the pond fella. I wouldn`t hold my breath on the premier league imposing any severe penalties or sanctions on the so called big 6 as they are they are just 2 cheeks of the one ass mate!! Self-Preservation will always rule unfortunately, Just like the free Masons they will close ranks and move the goal posts and never be accountable sadly.

    magicmac,

Ok bud, not too bad thanks.
Im not sure the PL or the FA can sit on their hands for much longer after the penalty they have dished out on Everton.
Im sure there will be a few owners and fans of clubs who will be looking over their shoulder.
There are plenty of videos on Youtube talking about this topic and the ramifications it could have on other clubs,
I hear what you are saying but if the PL don`t show some balls and take Chelsea to task especially , then they will be seen to be a bit of a doormat for the bigger clubs, just my opinion mind, so at the end of the day you could well be right .
Hope all is well with you fella.

As Ed says we don’t need to know what the problem is with Trippier but we can hope it is sorted for him.

Some slightly more positive news on NUFC injury front.

Sven Botman has progressed well this week. He should avoid surgery IF knee doesn’t swell again.

Sean Longstaff ankle is settling quickly but remains doubt for Chelsea.

Miguel Almiron & Alexander Isak will be fit.

Still can`t find a live feed for the women`s game but it`s 0-0 half time.
Forest, like our ladies have been hammering most teams, only game they have lost recently was away to Burnley who are top so even a point down there will be decent.
I didn`t realise they were playing at The City Ground, should be a good atmosphere.

Good to hear things are going well at you`re end mate, have you any date for returning to work fella? You might be right in all you`re assumptions Wltoon, but with what is going on in the world at the moment ii`ve become very cynical due to people being more motivated purly by self interest, leading to corruption, specially with so many distrustful and unscrupulous people in the higher echelons of power mate!! We will wait with bated breath WLtoon my friend.

Lasses won 1-0 away at Forest which means they are only 1 point off top spot with a game in hand over leaders Burnley.
This is their biggest win of the season so far imo and sends a message to the rest of the lge.
Unbeaten so far this season and its closing in on December, well done the lasses .
