Kieran Trippier Returns Home On A Personal Matter

Kieran Trippier has returned to Newcastle after playing the full game in England’s 2-0 win over Malta in a Euro 2024 qualifier and England have already qualified for the finals in Germany next summer.

And some surprising news today that the talented Newcastle full-back has returned home to deal with a personal; matter.

This is how Newcastle announced the news about Trippier on their X (Twitter) account:

We have no idea what the problem is and we don’t need to know either.

We have to hope it’s not a serious matter, and we expect Trippier to be available for our vital home game against an improving Mauricio Pochettino Chelsea side, next Saturday at an unusual KO time – 3:00 pm.

Comments welcome.

I think Trippier will be held back for CL, at least not a starter on Saturday.

I thought was a late KO, but it is actually 3pm.

As much I hate Everton I think it’s a disgrace they have deducted 10 points

I mean who is it punishing ? The fans don’t deserve that and they are the club

The only thing that can come out of this is City and Chelsea get it next

But why ? Because they spend money the company owners actually have, it will be us next and I can see a breakaway 100% will happen

Just let clubs spend what they need to be successful ffs

Coming Home: while I see what you mean it’s normal for professional sports teams to have certain things regulated. NHL hockey for example has a salary cap. At least it works. Unfortunately FFP is not the answer and never will be. Salary caps even out the spend on players. Buts it’s too late. The damage was done year’s ago and man c and chelski have benefited big time.

Yeah I just think the fans are the ones to suffer and it’s crazy they deduct points instead of fining the owners

CH: I agree it’s not the fans fault but fining very rich owners is not much of a punishment.
