The facts are that Newcastle have lost four of our last five games in all competitions and in the process, we have been eliminated from European competition and the Carabao (League) Cup.

That’s not good, and we always said that the last few weeks would be critical to Newcastle’s season – that’s been true.
We now have the Premier League and the FA Cup to fight for, and on January 5th we visit Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.
That could be a tough game for us – since it’s away from home – and we find it hard to win away this season.
In fact, we have won only one game away from home in the league all season – the 8-0 hammering of Sheffield United in late September.
And we are away to another bottom three side, when we visit Kenilworth Road on Saturday against Luton.
We are decently placed in the league in 6th place at the moment:

But we are still 5 points out of 4th place (Manchester City) and this season we have Aston Villa to contend with, and they are currently 3rd top on 38 points – 9 points more than we have.
Villa have done so well under the guidance of new manager Unai Emery, since he took over in October of last year – only 14 months ago.
And now we know whay our owners had Emery as number one choice for head coach – but we are more than pleased with Eddie Howe at Newcastle, don’t get us worng.
Once the Christmas games are over and including the 3rd round of the FA Cup in early January – Newcastle will only average about one game a week over the rest of the season.
Time to get our injured players back and for Eddie Howe to meticulously prepare for each game.
It will be a successful season once again – if we can qualify for the Champions League – and we’re quite sure Eddie Howe knows that.

Comment #3Emri is doing fine in part because he has a full fit squad. He’s also got Ollie Watkins doing a great job for Villa.
That’s the only differences.
We need to shift up a gear in confidence and with returning players and some new additions win well and not give games away.

Comment #6Carltoon – for if/when you use Discord (not persuading anyone before someone else gets upset), the main channel if the general chat. You could potentially not check the rest and that’s where the chat is. It’s really just a continuous chat similar to the chat on the posts that Ed puts out but in one channel.
The other channels you could hide to make it simpler but are the equivalent of posts used for FPL.
I don’t want to say too much but if you ever find your way onto Discord, please do feel free to ask the questions and we can help make it clearer how to use it in a similar fashion to here.

Take a look at last night`s convo`s, the teacher must of been embarrassed.
If it was me involved in the drivel i would be fkin embarrassed anarl tbh, and would think twice about showing my face on here again .
No doubt it will be the same garbage again tonight, so anyone wanting the next shower of shite episode pull yourself up a nice comfy seat , get yourself some popcorn and tune in after 7pm.
Its coming up to Xmas so the main players will be on bonuses, i`m sure you will get even extra value for money.
