Here are the video highlights after Newcastle’s 3rd win in our last 4 games and it was a terrific 3-1 win at in-form Aston Villa.
Well, they were in form up until this game, when they looked poor by their own high standards this season.
But Newcastle are back to near their best, with an energetic and commanding performance where there were good performances from our players all over the pitch.
Fabian Schar scored a brace and it seems he and Dan Burn can score the goals for Newcastle even though they are in the back four.
Here are NBC Sports highlights of this terrific win for the Magpies.
We are at home against Luton Town on Saturday – 3:00pm KO – and we have to get all 3 points in that game.

Comment #125Tindall has such an amazing talent of getting under opposition managers skin haha Klopp, Arteta, Emery….
It’s like Tindall has free reign to be irritating, wind-up and argue with the opposition bench, whilst Howe remains calm, cool and collected. Perfect double act!

It’s such a shame when you have huge organisations such as the NHS cost cutting which impacts on people’s jobs. This all goes back to the bigwigs who are making these decisions and not allowing a purchase order (PO) to go through as their is no room to cover this financially through the dangerous cutting of costs. Your project you were PM on will more than likely suffer as you’re not there to manage it accordingly…
On that basis…Questions will be raised as to why something has failed and the root cause will come down to cutting costs. and who made those decisions and why? In my industry we dislike this approach so much as what it does is it causes a work arena to have manpower issues or shortages where this leads to problems such as individuals covering work streams which they shouldn’t as they’re not trained on or understand it as you would and then accidents/incidents are more inevitable, then the individuals can have a burnout. So, look at it this way, you’re better off out of this work environment and wherever you end up next as a PM, then I’m pretty sure that they will be blessed to have you and your good work ethic and dedication which is their gain and the NHS loss.
All the very best and good luck mate in your job search, I’m sure it won’t take very long 😉

Comment #128Aye the Tindall and Howe good cop, bad cop play is well played out. Tindall definitely has gotten under other managers skins, which allows Eddie to let them get on with it and he studies the game etc. saying that Eddie listens a lot to Tindall on tactical decisions. You see them in deep conversations in the sidelines at times and they’re a great team. Probably the best that the EPL has to offer. Not forgetting greame jones too, he does a lot of good stuff behind the scenes I’m sure.

Comment #129As to 9 mins extra, this is 2024: my estimate was 9 mins so I gave myself a pat on the back. A couple of long delays (Dubs for one). It’s heartbreaking, really: not a single football fan anywhere in the country moaned under the old 90-minute system,( and NUFC never had a full team crocked, but that is just a coincidence, because 3 of the injuries were people falling awkwardly and not late on). The whole extra time business is also made much worse by the useless and irritating VAR, which should be consigned to the bottom of the ocean with immediate effect, but which we are stuck with for the rest of my lifetime, unfortunately

Your comments #111 are those of a desperate, objectionable person who’s grasping at straws in an attempt to gain some credibility with decent folk. You’re wasting your time!
When you’re struggling as you are, it might be a good time to take a break and give some thought to new plot line for your fantasies. The scope available to you is reducing but I’m sure you’ll come up with something to keep us entertained.

Think your post at #129 has given Lesh a free pass to post any slightly politcal stuff (in response to a post or any other each way) for a few weeks with no backlash!
As that’s about as political and welcoming a back and forth debate as a post can get! 🙂

Sadly, it’s not funny and the clowns who pushed for it won’t admit it – neither will a lot of those who were conned into voting for it.

Comment #146Alarming how Bailey was skinning Burn so easily, so a great call to bring Tino on. Tino’s really too good to be stuck on the bench and I wonder if he could play the holding midfielder role just shielding and sitting in front of the back 4.
Also a front 3 of gordon, Murphy and Miggy on his correct side were very fluid with pace to burn. I know AG isn’t a ”false 9” but it’s not the absolute end of the world now if no Isak and CW.
