Video Of Newcastle Players Leaving The Pitch After Great 3-1 Win At Aston Villa

Here is a short video clip released by nufcTV of our lads leaving the pitch, after one of our best wins of the season – a 3-1 win against 4th-placed Aston Villa.

But we also had Alexander Isak injured (again) so we have to hope that the recruitment team can bring in a striker who can lead the line in Isak’s absence.

Callum Wilson is still probably a couple of weeks away from playing, and we have to hope Isak’s injury is not serious.

In this video don’t miss Guimaraes coming in last – without his shirt.

🙂

Every single player played their part tonight. Was a superb performance and we looked much like ourselves!

King Eddie with the double over Emery, you live to see it!

Should give all the lads a huge confidence boost to go on a good run of results 🙂

Rom/Fenham….it takes me an hour to type out a post with me 1 typing finger so if a new thread comes up in the meantime it’s getting reposted shamelessly.
Now the big question is will I need to repost this post about reposting?

It appears I did have too 😆

I think the sunlun victory was huge not only because of the derby, but I genuinely believe that we mentally kicked on from that. Against Fulham we didn’t get out of second gear against a top 10 EPL team at their place and never looked like losing…

I had a suspicion we held so much back for tonight’s game. We were on another level. We smashed them in the first half, when isak went off (hope he is ok mind) it effected us a wee bit, however, we didn’t collapse and stuck at it and we should have gone 4-1 up only for Lobby to miss that open goal. What a move that was as we cut through them like a knife through butter. If he’d have slotted that home we’d have had a carnival finale . Anyway we still smashed them and wor Eddie showed exactly who’s boss.

Bruno ate all the chocolate lol

Young Alice will be making a video about this result , no doubt. I reckon she is a closet Toon fan.
Lets put a little run together now and shut some of the doubters up, we can still make Europe

Emery and Villa players have been pretty complimentary about our team , Eddie and performance. Give them credit for that. Makes van teg and co. seem like delinquents

    Eddie
On Alexander Isak: “It looks like a groin injury. We’ll get a proper diagnoses but hopefully it’s not too bad.”

    I hate groins me.

Keeps our GD well ahead of ManU and a few others.
    Always a bonus point that.

It almost felt like after the league Cup final where our players started to play with freedom again

The Sunderland game has given the confidence back but I feel that was playing with the minds of some players and it shouldn’t but the important of spanking them might just set us up for FA Cup glory !!

Miley – what a player at 17 bossed McGinn for 70 mins broke up their attacks and got us going forward umpteen times with passes and clever runs up the left – superb

    Just to clarify….

The “window” doesn’t close until 11:00pm on the first of February. 🙂

    JaveaToon – cheers.

This game reminded me of when we played them at home. They played some nice football without a cutting edge but everytime we attacked we looked like scoring. Only difference we only scored 3 tonight whereas we scored 5 in the home game 😉

With Isak’s injury it surely cements us to go all out to secure one tomorrow. I love isak and Wilson, but for the love of god they’re made of sugar glass.

Unfortunately it’s too late to go for Mitro from Saudi, he’d have plugged a gap for sure with no huge cost.

We definitely need a 3rd striker with these tie we have. Mind you isak was always ok re injuries previously. He got that groin injury playing for Sweden and it’s been an issue since. Let’s see what the club have in store. But I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we don’t sign anyone. Huge summer instead maybe ?
