Jason Tindall Gives A Positive Injury Update – “Situation Is Certainly Getting Better”

Jason Tindall gave the press conference today for the home game against Luton Town tomorrow afternoon, with Eddie Howe feeling under the weather this morning.

And Eddie Howe’s right-hand man had some good news on the injury front for a change, and especially on Alexander Isak who may even be able to play tomorrow afternoon.

This is some of what Jason said today:

“Eddie Howe is feeling a little bit under the weather. I’d expect him to be on the touchline tomorrow.”.

“Alex has improved. He will be one we have to assess today and take the advice from the medical team. He has a chance of making the game tomorrow.”

“A couple of lads are getting closer, we will assess the squad today and see where everyone is.”

“The injury situation is certainly getting better.”

“Harvey Barnes and Callum Wilson are probably a little bit ahead of Joe Willock.”

This is very good news – but if there is any doubt about Isak we shouldn’t take the risk and give him a little longer to recover.

Maybe start him on the bench with Anthony Gordon leading the line?
