Newcastle Team Announced For Luton Town – Gordon Leads The Line – Wilson, Barnes On Bench

Eddie Howe has just announced his Newcastle team for the home game against Luton Town this afternoon.

Gordon leads the Line and there’s no sign of Alexander Isak – but Harvey Barnes is on the bench

We really should be beating a bottom four side at home, but Luton have won their last two leage games and are in good form.

Over 80% of our readers think we can win this game – let’s hope they are right about that.

We really have played Luton at the worst possible times this season.

Expecting a tough game. I don’t think anybody underrates Luton anymore.

Bench looks a lot stronger now at least, looks like it`s AG through the middle.

Hope to see Miggy back on the left again and bet they all three move around up there. Should drive Luton crazy I hope.

Good to see Wilson back but, even more so Barnes, after being out so long.

Look forward to see what the front 3 can do with a full game

Gordon gas exceptional movement and can hold the ball up better than Wilson and Isak so it could be interesting to see how we will try to play with him up top especially if Luton sit deep

If it turns into an open game where we can press them we could destroy them but I reckon they will launch it long early to prevent the press coming

He’s no weak link. He just needed to get back to full fitness.
Last season his injury coincided with our bad run.
